Just became aware that Faroole didn't attend the ceremony despite news reports yesterday that he would attend. What's the deal ?

There is absolutely no need for Somalia to cement a powersharing formula based on clan. If we are to act as good muslims we should abhor anyone who insists on getting something because of the color of his skin or his clan, rather than ability.

The prime minister should be someone from Rawahweyn. Just to break the patern .

Thats impossible well at-least for now a country that just came out a civil war where some of the society still dont trust each other , what u need is to continue the patern till Somalia is strong enough than u can take other measurements. The 4.5 will atleast continue for another 4 years and Somalia also have unofficial 4.5 before the creation of 4.5. You cant have the speaker of parliament and the prime minister from the same clan this was even impossible in the sixties.
But i agree with you zero tolerance for secession threats.

Khalid u keep saying mj prime minister this and that like its destiny lol but I see nothing wrong with thst aslong as our new president and PM share same views and can work together.
