I don't know how reliable this information is, but I've been told a special convoy were sent to gedo to seek a quality candidate.

Traditionally if the president was from former Italian Somalia,the pm was elected from former British Somaliland (Somaliland) which was one of the basis of the 1960
union.Maybe the new president of Somalia is thinking that way, it doesn't really matter though Somalilanders are represented by their elected president and parliament.

Only in Somalia you can have an Islamist President fighting an Islamist rebel group using NonIslamic Forces

There is no such thing as harti politically anymore. Faroole made sure of that.
