A Repeat: Farmaajo Vs. Saciid Shirdoon

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Sun Sep 23, 2012 10:34 am

My sources in Xamar are telling me its a repeat of a past line up: Farmaajo vs. Dr. Sacid Shirdoon for the PM position. The new President can not decide between the two. Dr. Sacid Shirdoon was the favorite in the previous line up and for all intents and purposes was supposed to be named PM by Sheik Sharif before Sheik Sharif had a change of heart about Mr. Shirdoon. Some say the change of heart was due to Mr. Shirdoon being close to the HG as he is the husband of Asha Haji Elmi, the HG MP. Others say that Sheik Sharif wanted to get a naive unknown who didn't have the street smarts.

Anyways, the chase is on between Dr. Saciid and Farmaajo.

:dead: :dead: :dead:

So the husband has one seat in Darood61 and the wife has one seat in Hawiye61

This is pure irony

Advo,

It is called being politically gangsta. She worked the women vote angle and he worked the Marexan angle, voila. A power couple.

Murax,

They are campaigning for a NonPuntland PM. Naturally, after the Majeerten, the Marexan are the 2nd most powerful Darood.

Udun,

She is a civil society member and women activist. She set up NGOs to help women and is a winner of the CLinton Foundation award.

Abdiwahaab,

Asha Haji Elmi ma Sacad Reer Jaraf baa, maxaa isu tihiin? Kolay gabartaas magaceeda waa ku celcelisay, marka maxaad isu tihiin? Timir laf baa ku jirta

Are you saying since Siciid Shirdoon is married to her, and if he becomes a pm, you will have a foothold in the government and will probably be milking it?

I am also related to Farmaajo and DR Ali Ciise Cabdi, and I have never taught of milking the system, so I must thank you for giving me hints here

Udun,

Farmaajo is awful when it comes to naas nujiis. All of the Farmaajoist left their jobs broke as a joke and much poorer than they went in. Dr. Saciid is a good friend and an upstanding Somali.

Yes, some people here think my endorsement of Farmaajo or Gonjeex or Saciid while condemning Sheik Sharif/Cabdiweli/Sharif Sakiin was an act of trickery on my part. They think I am like them afflicted with qabilism to the core. Nope. I was friends with Gonjeex and Saciid way before the war. Farmaajo seems like a nice fellow but 22 years in the qurbaha and being stingy ain't cool Haji.

I am not a qabilist zealot like 90% of the people who are on these forums. I am a believer in politics the world is grey.

You are not qabiilist but you are a Mooryaan; the difference is that qabiilist has convictions and beliefs, but in Guhad's dictionary a Mooryaan has no morale, conviction or belief for that matter.

Who is Saciid Shirdon?
Is he an islamist or secular?
What is his stance on Jubbaland and Kismayo Al Mukarramah?

Saacid Shirdoon is secular, Marehan, businessman.

Abdiwahab, neither Farmaajo nor Sacid it seems. I will be surprised if either is chosen.

Colonel,

Saciid Shirdoon is my honorary adeer. A secularist businessman who is pragmatic. His views on Kismayo is that its a Somali city and the solution lies in SOmalis not Kenyans negotiating an agreement.

Republic,

Warya, dont jinx me. I was about to organize a massive party for Dr. Saciid, invite all the Skinnies I know and celebrate. Shiid, I would celebrate so much that even the Marexans would get jealous and resent me for taking away their thunder.
