Is Puntland disintegrating

Postby gobdoon » Wed Sep 26, 2012 6:05 am

I never agreed with the idea , puntland contains Gobolka Bari, Nugaal, Mudug , Sanaag iyo Sool and I beleive each region is different and is part and not different from ather regions of Somalia and then if We have a government in Mogadishou then it should look after each region in Somalia , I am not denying there are connections between the regions puntland contains but at the end of the day each one is different and wants to look after the local intrest , You got Faroole now he is sitting in Garoowe and not doing anything for the ather places , he done good job for Somalia and how he played big part bringing about the ROAD MAP and the current Parliement and the president should be grateful of that , but people like Bari region should take care of their local needs and should object their tax Dollars ending up in Garoowe , Faroole his 4 years is finishing in January and he should stop increasing it to 5 years and should go like Cade left after his 4 years finished.

No I don`t think P/l is in danger of disintegrating. The people have invested to much effort and resources to see it all flushed away.
However, Farole is playing with fire if he thinks he can unilaterally extend his term in office.

By the way, what region do you hail from?
