while Garawe is the part of the so called Republic of Somalia and the president can visit it i dont see a reason why the president should visit it.

2nd, i dont see why Faroole or in that matter Puntland can be a problem, where we have a problem is the south and the president will need to solve it, period. forget this clan politics, we are not in TFG time nor do we have a president who need time extension.

No problem him visiting Puntland but he should have named his PM first. He didnt and now he is going to meet Faroole and if his decision is influenced then we have a problem. Even if we ignore reality the problem wont go away. In my honest opinion a Puntlander cannot be named PM simple because they got it last term. The president have hard decision. Lets see how he does.

The prez and pm is two different spots, the pm is picked by the president. But if it makes you sleep better I rather would have different clan for president.

First, he was elected by the "Parliament", not the people. Secondly, President Muhammad Siyaad Barre travelled via car from Jabuuti to Kismaayo in 1984.
