They thought abdiweli was getting more press attention than Farmaajo and they just wanted to remind the president that, Farmaajo is still liked by the main stream. I never talked about Ethiopia in Baydhabo is a lie cause I did talk about it.

The people who are fighting in Shabaab are fighting for Shabaab, not for their clan, and there were plenty of Ogadeen fighting in Jubboyinka, Xamar, Baydhabo, etc.
