Also his company was one of the few to be given licence to imports sugar, wheat and rice in particular in all of the north. It was at the same time when Xoosh-kibray was given monopoly import licence.

I read that article and could not understand it how him supplying food items destroyed the economy. Dude that is BS, Somalia never had such licence, you had the money you could import sugar, rice ect. My father used to import those products and sometimes together with Maxamed Dheere and Abdukar Cumar Cadaani.
