Lately this guy has been the subject of a lot of unwarranted insults as a result of comments He made on His visit to Beledweyne on one of His very first few days of office. These insults are primarly coming from some 'Darood' websites. The President while there was put on the spot by a reporter being asked about Kismaayo which had just fallen. Now keep in mind that 95% of Somali journalists or reporters ask provacative questions on purpose just so they can create waves by drawing on Somalis obsession with qabiil. The people who captured Kismaayo were primarly the Kenyan AMISOM troops who were assisted by TFG troops and Raskambooni. The President upon being asked mentioned that He would create a administration right away for Kismaayo so as to not create a vacum that would allow AS to come back. Okay so He did not say the same for Beledweyne, but Kismaayo and Beledweyne are two totally different situations.

-The troops in Beledweyne first of all are from DJIBOUTI, a Somali Muslim nation, with zero historical territorial ambitions in Somalia
-Kenya is a non Somali, Non Muslim nation that historically has had a contentious relationship with Somalia regarding the NFD i.e the Shifta wars
-Beledweyne has had a administration that has been working for several months, so the President would not be out of line to say You Guys decide Your permenant maamul because they are not in a transitional phase
-Kismaayo was just days removed from AS, so it was the Presidential thing to do to say He would help stablize the town by naming a administration


There is aboslutely no evidence the President is against the people of Gedo, Middle Jubba, L Jubba merging to form a State nor is there evidence He has a problem with the International Community, IGAD helping to make that happen. However He Has every right and has my full support to demand that this happen INSIDE those regions, with the meetings being moved from Nairobi to Kismaayo. With that I say good job. It is also ridiculous to this early call Him a Hawiye qabqable or something just due to these comments. This guy is the worst so-called President we have seen so far. If it weren't the Ugandans, this NGO-milking dude wouldn't have been president. I have told you many times that an uncle of mine in the current Parliament had told me prior to the election that Uganda plainly said that they want an Abgaal president. He had no shot whatsoever and not too many had positive view about him. I remember Waryaa referring him as the "annoying guy". The MPs, realizing how paramount the Ugandan protection was, decided that he was the safest Abgaal in the group other than Shariif Ahmed. And his weakness was on display when he chose the husband of one of the most powerful women in Somalia. He had well qualified list of candidates but chose man with a shady past.
