Lets not kid ourselves and act like Somalia is 'Post War' or that clan hatred and mistrust does not exist. Sure, I don't think its as relevant inside the Country as in the bitter diaspora but its still there nonetheless. Bottom line is there was a 4.5 power sharing formula that was derived to make sure that the bulk of Somali subgroups felt involved and it has been bypassed for some reason. In looking at this cabinet one thing that strikes out at Me is the lack of ministerial representations of two groups Dhulbahante, Murusade. The former plays a big part in Northwest Somalia, the latter plays a big part in the politics of the Capital. Now don't get Me wrong, its not like Ministers can, are supposed to or will do anything for their clan however as a goodwill and confidence building gesture to heal some of the civil war tensions it is good bring them in the fold of the Cabinet. I really do not understand what this Government was thinking.

Really? Should the Gov give every subclan a ministerial position? what kind of logic is that? we already have a crowded parliament and now if we add that to a crowned cabinet then i am sure it will be a disaster.i also approve in tirada parliament laga dhigo less than 100 members.

There is a reason why this happened. Elements within the International Community and the "Government" want to force/convince the Samaroon, Dhulbahante, Warsangeli tribes that have shed blood and tears for Somalia to officially denounce Somalia and favor something called "Reer Waqooyism". The idea of "Reer Waqooyism" will open the gates of legitimacy of Somaliland and ultimately recognition for Somaliland.

Hassan-Shirdoon and their "government" will surely end within 4 years. Let's face towards building Puntland and making it more united and stronger.
