This Guy must be the worst politican to ever grace Somali politics. He just so clumsy and bobbles everything.

Unfair, that award goes to Yusuf Haji who mumbled in incoherent Somali with a Boran twist on BBC condemning the KDF rampage in Garissa !

The defense minister of Kenya has ordered full investigation into the Garisa issue and ordered the immediate removal of the Kenyan army. He also said, a lot of army members will be brought to justice

Then why did he talk about those 9 bantus who died ? He should have either ignored the whole thing or addressed both issues.
He just sent them diplomatic condolences for the 9 Kenya Police who were unjustly killed.President hassan mentioning the skirmishes in eastlight and taking a confrontational note would have esclated the issue. :steviej: as far as the office of the president is concerned, garissa is a kenyan territory and doesnt concern him.
There is No somaliweyn anymore.

The fact that 43 Police men were killed in Turkana and no single action was taken shows you the kenyan elite are behind the fiasco in Garrissa.

Its bull. 2,000 Somali boys and men were slaughtered in 1984 by the KDF and nothing was done.

Metamorphis,

I criticized Yusuf Haji for what happened in Garissa and praised Aden Barre Ducale, the MP from Dujis. So it cancels each other out.

What happened in Garissa was truly saddening but how exactly is Mr. Haji at fault? He couldn't have prevented it and the only thing left for him to do is fix the issue which he is doing. :|

I am not daarood { who all but supported the Kenyattis } , I am not Hawiye and I have never been to Kenya

One thing I know is , when you're president of a country you need to be as consistent as you can
You can't be a Kikuyu cheerleader one day and call for their extermination the next
You've all made a choice , honor it .

He is the Minister of Defense ! These men come under his control. He claims to be from Garissa and they shid all over his home town. He recruited so many boys from Garissa to the KDF, Ras Kiamboni, and Azania. He knew what his men were capable of doing and could have ordered his men to cease and retreat back to their barracks as the KDF are not police and not in their mandate to do policing functions.

He instead just snoozed and watched his men go amok.

Maybe you guys r not aware how diplomacy and international relation work, The president of Somalia cant talk what is happening in Kenya, that is an internal matter of Kenya. While president can show solidarity when tragedy happens he has no right to voice his opinion on an internal skirmishes in a foreign countries.

What is more most of the members who are dissing now never liked him anyway because peculiar clannish reasoning.

 Ras Kambooni was't recruited by him. That's shaikh Ahmed madoob's work. Besides it takes time. be patient and wait. He can't be more disappointing than Hassan shaikh who has not done a single thing for the country since his election.

Metamorphis,

Yusuf Haji is the father of these movements. He has done more for RK and AZ than Madoobe or Gandhi. Without Haji, they would have failed a long time ago.

I supported Sheikh Shariif because took the country forward.
I`m opposed to Xassan Sheikh because he is taking the country back to the 1990s/USC era.

Incidentally, both presidents are from the same clan. :som:
