Why does the genocide of certain groups even have to come into play here? :mindblown: All he did was praise the kacaan govt. based on their education program.

Dude don't let the civil war blind you of the kacaan govt.'s achievements. They fucked up big time at the end but there were a lot of positives about that govt.

The problem with that faqash regime was not the genocide committed against Hawiye and other clans, but the fact that islam was oppressed in such way that people forget how to pray and how to dress modest.

Even if it was a peaceful regime, the fact that it wanted to destroy islam was a great danger for all believers.

Any praise to the Kacaan Government should be laid void. The Kacaan Government was the worst thing to happen to Somalia period!

Siyad Barre disappointed Somali oo dhan, he further disappointed his Darood clan and even more his own Marehan subclan.

The meaning of disappointment should be changed to equal Siyad Barre. He lost the North and not long after lost the capital, and to this day we are still paying for his mistakes.

He failed as a qabileeste & as a Patriotic. :mindblown:

I met Siyaad Barre twice. I met him in 1974 in Lagos and in 1981 in Khartoum.

I was six years old when I first met the late dictator in Lagos. This is the man who was responsible for the death of over 50,000 of my people, including my abti (AUN) and three of my cousins (AUN) in Burco. This is the man who said we could not build any structure higher than two floors in waqooyi. We were not allowed to drive SUV's in waqooyi. His daroodism policy destroyed Somalia. Shame on Hassan Sheekh, the smiling Abgaal buffoon.

:mindblown:
