Interior minister Abdikarim Hassan guled has called a conference to discuss the creation of Jubbaland state.
Addressing the media, Abdikarim has denied his government’s knowledge in the ongoing preparations in Kismayo to organize a conference, which is led by the interim Jubba leaders, calling to convene another conference that is more inclusive.

“We have been hearing these reports, but we are not involved in the ongoing preparations” Said Abdikarim.

Mr. Abdkarim called all parties to join in a more inclusive conference which is led by the federal government.

“We are inviting all parties to attend this conference including the interim local rulers and all the local stakeholders” he added.

Interior minister has condemned Clashes between rival Somali clan militias in Kismayo on Saturday which has left the death of 11 people.

The minister was responding to the ongoing preparations to organize a convention to discuss on the future of Jubbaland regional government which was postponed yesterday.

Shiekh Ahmed Madobe, a former islamist leader  is now the interim leader of Jubba.

The deadlock continues while the government and local leaders claim that its their constitutional rights to form a regional government for Jubba.

This halaal conference made by the government will prevent more bloodshed and will pave the road towards a peaceful jubboland where even the discriminated somali bantu will get a fair share.

Any other conference weither it is lead by fufus, their children or gedonians will be recognized as haram and will take responsibility for bloodspilling between hawiye vs darood, cushitic vs bantu and mareexaan vs ogaadeen.

May Allah give peace to Jubbooyinka and a halaal pro-Somali Government administration.
Otherwise let alshabaab return, they will make it peaceful again.

It wouldn't be appropriate for them to fully interfere in the Jubbaland negotiations. The federal government should just make sure that minorities like the Bantu are given their fair share of representation and to remind Jubbaland that they are not alone in that region. Other than that, they should have a hands off policy. Let them do what they want.

If the Govt hadn't already discredited itself with regards to the J/Land issue, I would be the first to welcome their involvement.
However, as things currently stand.....they can go hang!

These moryaan have a real cheek mentioning minority rights, everybody is aware of the plight of minorities in Banadir.
J/Land will be ruled by the people, of the people and for the people.
HAGites and any other saboteurs will never heed our peaceful progress.

Any Qabiil based maamul is destined to fail in Southern Somalia. It will only work if it is sub-sub-clan maamul like Ximan iyo Xeeb (Saleebaan), Galmudug (Sacad), Puntland (Majeerteen)... but when it is in diverse regions like anything south of Galguduud it will end in failure.
