Prime minister Shirdoon welcomes EU delegation in Mogadishu

The Prime minister of Somalia Abdi Farah Shirdon met with a high level delegation from the EU, on Sunday.
The delegation was led by EU Special Envoy to Somalia Michele Cervone d’Urso, UK’s special representative for Somalia, Mr.Matt Bough and representatives from the French embassy in Kenya.
“…We welcome this delegation from the EU, it is not the first time such a high level delegation visits us here in Mogadishu, this demonstrates the strong ties between Somalia and the EU, we will continue to strengthen the relations between the two sides…” said Prime Minister Shirdon in a press conference at his office in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.
