Postby guhad122 » Tue Mar 12, 2013 11:27 am

This is a well-known reer Gedo Digil iyo Mirifle elder and is well-known and well-respected clan elder and is also part of the Committee that is responsible for the Jubbaland State Conference. He tells as it is "Beel yar oo Daaroodka kamid ah ayaa carqalad wada waa na laga tashan". The conference will go on!

Saaxiib Sheekh Xasan is well-known and is originally from Baardheere. How now lives in Kismaayo and is a member of the Gudiga Farsamada along with Macalin Maxamed, Aw Libaax, General Cabdi Mahdi and so on. He is Digil/Mirifle. Awalbaa horey looyiri "Mareexaan col iyo nabad midna maleh".

Mareexaan col malaha:you don't fin them when you are in a war with them because they easily disappear.
Nabad maleh: Never take a peace and would always stab you in the back you when the clans are in peace.

People need to get round the table before its too late.
If this chance for a long lasting peace is missed, it could be years before another opportunity arises.

I have never ever seen someone inside Gedo ever talk about these things. They always have to be outside the boundaries of the region yet the Marehan are in Kismaayo in Beerxaani and elsewhere and are speaking and flexing inside of Lower Jubba or all the other places they are contesting.

Guhad, if the man claims Gedo first he is not speaking in Gedo and nor has anyone every spoken from the borders of Gedo to contest anything about the reality of that region. It is always from somewhere else. Secondly anyone can pick up a phone and speak.

This is not worth my time. How can qoys yar hold up anything? Is this the same qoys who can go from the tip of the Ethiopian border to the tip of the border in the Indian Ocean in force and political power?

Jubbaland has only one clan that can claim to be dominant from the Ethiopian border to Indian Ocean and it is not your clan between two towns or others who have the freedom to speak but not the freedom to exercise.

Can you tell me how the Nairobi conference is going? From what I heard the Kenyans have rethought strategy 180 degrees and realize they made a mistake the day they empowered Ras Kamboni or fortified Ahmed Madoobe as the beginning admin of Kismaayo. Not only has the Jubbaland initiative received a deadlock on the national front but local as well as military front.

I am told the Kenyans have said it is finally time to change the interim Kismaayo administration to address realities before the major Somali power in the land can be part of and even lead the Jubbaland initiative.

Just like people can talk all type of nonsense on the web but sing an entire different tune in real life.
