Instead of clan based federalism

Postby James Dahl » Thu Mar 14, 2013 1:27 pm

How about instead of clan based federalism, we just make more Gobols so every clan can have their own Gobol.

Like this for instance: More gobols for the central region and Puntland

It's not a race to see who has the most Gobols

Why not just give every clan their own Gobol, and every subclan their own Degmo, why are we fighting the clan system, why don't we just use the clan system to make administration easier instead of fighting it tooth and nail

The issue of federalism is to curb and control coackroaches from Mudug trying to invade and occupy other folks regions.
All clans should be limited to lands they occupied prior 91.

First of all, why and how did you get into Somali politics/history/every damn thing to do with Somalis if you are a Canadian cadaan guy. Im just curious :mindblown:

Secondly, as much as every Somali is more or less tribalist to some degree, trust me there is a deep part of them that hates tribalism and nobody wants to see a system of government in place that is dictated by tribalism. So even though people are tribalists and advocating for their qabiil getting the lions share of everything, nobody wants to consider giving a gobol to every qabiil because we would all be the official bonifide crazies of Africa
