i repeat Somalia is no use for Egypt , Somalia has no army right now nor is Somalia at war with Ethiopia , back in the days the Somali goverment was in border dispute with Ethiopia in the ogaden region. Somalia and Ethiopia today have restored relations and Ethiopia is Somalia's biggest ally against Alshabaab. its best for Somalia Somaliland and Djibouti to stay neutral in this , the Nile river conflict doesn't concern us , Unless Somalia wants to be used by Egypt as proxies against Ethiopia. Egypt will lose this geopolitical war two reasons there is no united Arab policy on the nile conflict sudan is very indifferent Ethiopia approached Sudan and wants to export its electricity to Sudan. The Tigrayans are smart mother fockers they already have a good deal with Djibouti and south sudan to export south sudanese oil through Ethiopia than to the Djibouti ports. South sudan Sudan Kenya Djibouti Somalia Somaliland , even Eritrea will not side with Egypt these countries will all be neutral or have close relations with Ethiopia.

khalid ali unlike somaliland, somalia has two rivers which originate in ethiopia, what if Ethiopia successfully dams the nile river, that sets a precedent in east africa, soon you will see shabelle river being dammed next. Not only must Somalia ally itself with Egypt she must do so, for her very water security may be threatened in the near future.

They already have dams right now it will not effect Somalia, these rivers from ethiopia to somalia are not one of major concern, i am sure the current government of Somalia is aware of this , or else they wouldn't forge very closer relations with addis ababa would they.
