thisI don't think the British give a damn about Somaliland to be honest. It was always just a backwater of their vast empire. They also do not care about Somalia...and why should they they're not Somalis.
The UK government is far too smart to push Somaliland into a corner. They may have leverages that they can utilise to force Somaliland to bend to their will but they wouldn't dream of forfeiting the relationship cultivated over a century for the useless southerners. Most of the Somalis in the UK are from Somaliland and they are worried about terrorist they would never risk telling Somaliland to spin cause of the office chance al-Shabab might use it and attack the UK. Somalilands happiness is far to important to think otherwise is to either assume the British are stupid or you are clearly the stupid one.
