I like to go back to my analysis of why brians and smarts rule the world. It is critical that one notices even a small scale war requires a heavy back up of ammunitions, supplies, and artillery. That is why Ceydiid and SNM used Ethiopia for supplies and essentially used Ethiopia as their base to dislodge the military government. On a bigger scale, even sophisticated countries like the USA do not go to war alone but build alliances to cut the cost of war and end it swiftly. Lol @ posting ONLF propaganda from wardheernews. Prior to SNM there was already an Isaaq movement called Afaraad created to stop WSLF and their killings of Isaaq nomads. WSLF was funded by Afweyne Barre and one of their goals was to exterminate Isaaq from Hawd laakin Ilaahay baa na jecel and that organization manage to counter WSLF and their agenda until soldiers from the Somali army together with WSLF took down the movement but during these years SNM was in the process militarily. Since Afweyne Barre was funding his kin, we had to use the Derg in terms of using the land (Hawd as a base ) which falls under Ethiopia despite the land being Isaaq territory. However we never received weapons and ammunition for free, we bought it, nor did we launch attack together with Derg like your prostitute uncle and his SSDF movement. The SNM was never pro Derg or anti Derg like your article states. SNM was neutral. BTW how can SNM help the Derg who had one of the best armies in Africa after 78, to fight other liberation movements when we were busy with our own cause?
