1. Ras Kambooni is a ragtag milita with less than 2000 soldiers. To claim Kismaayo was captured and ruled by a small militia is as laughable as thinking the TFG forces liberated Mogadishu from Al-Shabaab.

2. Regardless of their alleged bias, they are in fact the internationally recognized Somali government. The international community has not invested millions of dollars and recognized this government to watch a third world country de facto annex nearly 1/3 of the country via a puppet administration.

3. As I alluded to above, Somalia is no longer in a transitory state. This is the Somali Federal Government, and the IC seems to no longer tolerate foreign meddling in Somalia. Regarldess of any proclamations coming from a Kenyan backed "administration", the SFG will always have the last say.

4. Once again, Kenya's presence in the Jubbas entirely depends on the assistance of Western powers. They don't have the logistical capability to continue this misguided adventure in Somalia without the aid of the various countries that are now backing the emergence of a stable Somali state. As Ethiopia withdrew from Somalia because of a lack of funds from the US, so will Kenya unless they bow to pressure from the SFG.

5. History has shown time and time again who controls Kismaayo when all things are equal.

1. Nobody is claiming RK captured Kismayo by itself, Kenya played a crucial part yet they would not have gone anywhere without RK and Ogaden TFG troops. Why are Sade TFG troops failing to capture Bardheere although they have Kenyan and Ethiopian backing?

2. The TFG has backed off from the situation, the latest developments might draw them back in however do not forget that their plan was to appoint Ahmed Madoobe as Middle Jubba Governor. Kenya isn't annexing any land, good lord what's with all these boogeyman stories?

3. That's a ridiculous point especially considering that the SFG depends on foreign troops to survive.

4. Kenya can not be compared to Ethiopia which to this day refuses to join AMISOM. Do we really expect the West to tell Kenya to remove its troops from South Somalia? HSM would be back in town within a minute, Kenya is important in the fight against HSM and they know that the West understands this.

5. Yet Ogaden has been pulling the strings from the get go, from the 20 days administration handover which never happened to Ahmed Madoobe muscling his way into presidency. It's the first time that we've set up a tribal force to look into Somali affairs in a while therefore the situation is completely different to when MX and HG only had 0.5 clans to deal with.

The way I see it Kenya holds the balance of power in Kismayo and wider region.
This J/Land project was conceived and directed from Kenya.

The Kenyans have invested too much political capital to just withdraw.
Igad and other international representatives were observers to the conference.

The Hassan Sheikh regime have proved themselves totally impotent.
They have no power to intervene in Kismayo/J/Land....long may it continue. :D :som:

The Ogaden mindset of this guy , the patriot , metamorphosis and the rest are what makes the Ogaden the biggest headache of all the somalis , freedom fighter one day , ethiopian "dictator" the other , terrorist one day , Kikuyu servant the next , my God , they're all over the place
One thing the Ethiopians and the Kenyans have managed is to kick back the Ogaden problem/ headache inside Somalia .
We shall overcome it , insha Allah
Ina baxar, wagashkii ku dhalay la gubye maxaa na kaa dabadhigey ood sidii maro boobto noogu dhagantahay?!!!

Xumaan iyo samaan mar danbe adoo Ogaden magac dhabi hadaan indhaha saaro, daafida aad ku cuni jirtey dulcad in aan kaa soo daaciyo ayaa balan ah.

Every thread that has potential of discussion, you turn it to tribal bashing, what gives waryaa? Hal keese ku cuncunta markaad Ogaden maqasho?

War hawada nooga bax, daba-cayuun yahow!!!
