The government has no business meeting a break away state on a head of state level. They should have unofficial junior level talks until a major break through occurs (for most Somalis sadly it is Hargisa accepting union). somaliland needs to secure its borders first and subdue antipeace elements, they are causing trouble in xamar and kismaayo its funny how politics change relationships between clans but we will discard those who threaten our interest.

Mufti there are no permanent allies or permanent enemies in the Somali peninsula there are only interests and every one is securing his/her own interests.
