At least five people were killed on Saturday evening and five police officers reported missing after suspected militia attacked two Administration Police camps in Damajale and Abdi Sugow, Garissa County.
Among the dead include three AP officers, a Kenya Red Cross staff and a teacher.

Three people including a senior chief, Mr Omar Khalif were injured during the incident which occured on Saturday at around 6pm.

KDF and GSU officers have been deployed to beef-up security in the area.

Stepped up incursions into Mandera around Arabia, Wajir county and now Damajaale. The attackers seemingly melt away into the countryside and nor do the host communities report them. These are not Shabab regulars from Somalia but Kenyan nationals fighting on behalf of this terror group.

Intelligence reports estimated at there were nearly 3 to 4,000 Kenyan nationals fighting for Shabab in Somalia. The bulk of them were from two provinces: Coast and NFD.

seems like the Kenyans have some serious problems to take care of if this is true..

Yep, The Coast is up in arms and a rebel group, Mombasa Republican Council, is fighting for the liberation of Pwani (coast) citing a treaty between the Sultan of Zanzibar who ruled the Coast and the British. The treaty recognized it as a separate entity not part of Kenya.
