What are you talking about? Every smart person knew Xasan Abeeso was walking into a trap. Am pretty sure even he himself knew what was waiting for him thus why he was refusing to come to Xamar. The Saleeban are not ProGovt. They are merely reserved. Cayr wouldn't kill him because it would pose problems as Xasan still has numerous supporters and is viewed as an Elderly Wadaadish Statesman. Sacad wouldn't have killed him and probably sent him off elsewhere rather than have a fight with Cayr, AS, and all other groups.
