Gedo was actually a peaceful place. It's a powerhouse and its owned by Somalis not Kenyans.

Seriously, how can the MX let the Kenyans do such a thing ? A joint task force of Rer Jalaf warriors seized Mandera for 10 days in 1992 as the Kenyattis fled. They even had the audacity to set up shop in the District Commissioner's headquarters.
