If you're Somali do you still need a visa?
If you don't have a Somali passport, yes!
I need to get me a Somali passport. My very own Somali passport, makes me smile just thinking about it.

Egyptians do not own the restaurant, they are employed by the ownerso, who are Somali.
It's located right next to Lido Seafood Restaurant in Abdul Aziz District.

The restaurant used to be the Egyptian Cultural Center back in the days.

Turkish restaurant to open soon.
How'd the Egyptians end up there?
The owners brought them in obviously to have a competitive advantage over their neighbour and biggest competitor, Lido Seafood Restaurant.

The manager, the cook and majority of the wait staff are Egyptian. Not surprised since, most high end restaurants and hotels employ foreigners in their establishments. Somalis got no customer service skills and lazy.

Janta has customs :-O

Sahal, customs for Somalis from other regions or foreigners?
Every region is politically independent because there is no central state.
there is an office in janta kundisho that imposes tariff on the marchants goods and there is a taxation office for the local producers.

When I think about hiiraan, kurdistaan wich is located in the middle of iran, turkey, syria and iraq comes to my mind. The reachest two iraqi communites are the shia and the erbil kurds who have borders with the arab iraqs, syria, tukey... They have alot of customs in their border regions while the sulaymaniya kurds are poor bc they only have border with iran.

The same you can establish 6 jumaarik in hiiraan wich is located in the heart of somalia and impose tariff on these marchants... This will be enough revenue for the administration.

Of course I'm talking about the future.

There is an Italian cook that works in Maka Al Mukarama. There are Syrians,
Bengals, Pakis, Indians, Afghanis, South Africans, Kenyans, and many other nationalities from all over the globe.

so turkey and egypt 'support' somalia by sending restaurant workers? and you guys are proud of this? The capital must change. i think work that somalida can do no other person from another country should do it.

the capital must change. how can we have uneducated people tak uneducated peoples work? look how we being exploited and you guys are hailing it as a good thing. next they'll open 1$/£ shops everywhere and then we will be no better then the black south africans unemployed and now are killing somali people and looting somali shops. some of you are bilaa diig. you couldnt open nothing in their countries but in ours we let them do as they please. ciil and fustration this brings me.

^^ Xenophobic

Somalis are business savvy by nature. Don't reduce us to the level of the xenophobic brainless South Africans. You can't hustle a hustler is his own backyard

Sxb you're speaking emotionally. I used to think like that until I saw Somali workers in Xamar  . No loyalty...no work ethic...no customer service.

Look at it from the perspective of the business owner: cheap, friendly, professional worker who knows his work Vs lazy, rude, more expensive employee.

The latter just happens to be Somali. Knowing how shrewd Somali businessmen are you really think they would go out of their way to import foreigners unless they had to?

We have to ask ourselves why. It's not one or too but a lot of the high end restaurants in the city. There's a reason.

your speaking like a white boss trying to justify why he has polish builders instead of english. plus these guys are not employed by somali. the boss is an arab and the workers are arabs. no one was imported. basically you trying to cake our exploitation and waving off as if we imported workers because our somali are rude and lazy.

i will not buy it from you. you trying to tell me people in xamar are lazy? if they lazy who feeds them? okay somali workers are more expensive then these masari? hahaha i guarantee you these arab waiters are on 5 to 10 times as much as a somali waiter. cant wait till the whole parliament flocks to this resturant for their qado

you keep hailing this as a development and advancement. this slave like behavior is getting on my nerves. ajanabi sells you a hot meal and thats it your life if sweet. had they been somali from another tribe there would be cussing and tribal bashing. but because they ajanabi there is praise and cheers.

We are on South Africa's path :meles:
