There is nothing really Eritrea can do for Somalia, Eritrea is isolated and sanctioned for aiding terrorists, even though its not true but thats besides the point.The only reason why they said they support culusows goverment is to show to the world they are no alshabaab supporters. Ethiopia has more leverage in the Somali peninsula and has more capacity and the ethiopians have troops in somalia. Ethiopia and Turkey also have good relations qatar and Ethiopia to. The era when Somalia was a strong state and it could play geopolitical wars in the region and could undermine ethiopia is long gone. Somalia fully recognizes the territorial integrity of the state of ethiopia. There is no reason actually for Somalia to conspire with egypt and the arabs. Unless u want ethiopia out of the domestic affairs and send them a message , but Somalia should thank ethiopia it did more than any other country to defeat shabaab. The reason why Ethiopia has a say in domestic affairs of somalia is because they have troops in Somalia. But there is no other conflict between ethiopia and Somalia.

First, the TFG under Prime Ministers Farmaajo and Abdiweli Gaas formulated a political Roadmap that included among its objectives the recruitment of additional AU troops.

Second, the Somali government successfully lobbied for AMISOM's mandate to be changed from one of peace-keeping to peace-enforcing. This meant that the AU troops could now directly assist the Somali forces in fighting off the rebels, both within Mogadishu and in areas outside of it. Prior to that, AMISOM's role was primarily restricted to protecting government officials and property in the capital since that is what it was originally mandated to do.

Third, the Somali army gradually started to rebuild itself, as more troops began receiving professional training under EU instructors. The military will only continue to grow in strength now that the arms embargo on Somalia has finally been lifted. This blockade was for a long time one of the main obstacles to re-establishing an effective national security appartus, and it too is gone.
