Two sub-clans can't be a state sxb. They can't even build a simple airport and you think they can be a nation state? That won't happen. You should negotiate your share of the Somali cake. The public are held hostage by few who use fear tactics and guilt to keep them around. They tell them the south are monsters and when that doesn't work, they tell them going south is betraying SNM fighters (guilt trip). I used to be a victim of their propaganda.

As for the airport. Guys you need to understand this. They are telling us the runway cost them $4.6m. The Hono China group whom the Silanyo family claimed won the tender were given the runway, fence and new tower but none of that exist.

The other things that you see is outside the airport. They are the departure terminal and near by cafeteria area and that was constructed by a Somali company.

Basically they want to tell us this (below image) cost them $4.6m. The whole Jijiga airport cost $3 million.

And he is before the purported upgrade...I do not see any difference.

answer my questions and stop spinning around.

what do we get from xamar, what benefits.

all i see is loss.
and who says one clan cannot be a state? we outnumber over a dozen states with seats in the UN interms of population.
our poor live better than manay others in africa, and the poorest somalilander struggling to eat is better than the poorest indian slum dweller

GeoSeven,

Are you Dhulo sxb? Yeah I believe all Somalis should be together regardless how bumpy the ride is. We can't give up and risk falling victim to bigger predators. We can't allow emotions to cloud our judgements.

Geo7, cool mate. Now days like Hawiye got hijacked by few warlords, the once blessed Isaaq beel got hijacked by few cry babies. For me the real Isaaq remain the likes of Hadraawi who introduced Hawadle, Beledweyne and Beerlula to us through his imagination, plays, music and in-genius to lobby for justice without giving up on his country.

Whenever I meet Hawadle, I always remember Beledweyne song and I believe that became part of you guys. Hadraawi is real Isaaq who was able to fall in-love beyond his triangular safe haven, explore and while recalls the past he never rejects the unification and his adventures in the south. For me he is the ideal Isaaq man.

These cry babies misunderstood the game. SNM did not even fight for secession, calacaal, isolation but to restore Somalia for all Somalis and thats why its name was SOMALI NATIONAL MOVEMENT not Somaliland Liberation Front, Somaliland Freedom Movement or whatever.

Me and the cry babies are at big odds.

HabarYoonis are very patriotic people. Also garxajis.
They believe in :som:
A famous Suldaan told the isaaqs to unite again with their brethren and to accept federalism.
For indeed a wise elder has spoken, but shall the dwellers of the barren land listen and benefit of his wisdom?

The points you made are more or less the arguments put forward by the Somaliland unionist I know. Big up to Habar Yonis though, my favourite Isaaqs
