The secessionist Idoor who are minority only know few things and I am happy to expose them;

1) Their number one quality is lying. They lied about all Somalis being the same. They lied from day one about the union which didn't need to be politicized because Allah made the Somali one family. British calan ban ola tagay...mid ingiiris ah ayan 5 cisho ka hor ka soo qatay xoornimo and all that none sense are just shameful things to claim. You don't need British papers to know the brother in the south is same as you.

2) They have no workmanship, they never deliver anything, just all talk. They had 22 years to build a region but all they managed to do is two hotels and few private houses. Now they act like they built the Great Wall of China, Pyramids of Giza in 22 years...even this restaurant/airport they will put it in bar with America's Hoover dam. That's the mentality they have.

3) They keep Isaaq civilians hostage by constantly bombarding them with the boogeyman story...hayaay Konfur waxa jogta Dhagdheer....xarorada intaynaa idin qalan (go inside before she slays you)...stay inside the "British" borders because thanks to London, halkan dhagdheer wa laga buufiyeey.

4) When boogeyman tactics don't work and northerners flee to the south to seek better opportunities they tell them "Kuwasi wa dirty Waqooyi, wa traitors, wa ina la xidha markay soo labtan...they betrayed every SNM fighter who gave his blood for the freedom" and shacabku shout "wa ruunta walee". This is nothing but a guilt trip and a combination of victimization.

5) They try very hard to convince Samaron, Isse and Harti that the project is not Isaaq but at the same time they think other people are babies with no mature brain. For example they try to make them swallow May 18th, a day the celebrates when a rebel group from a certain clan defeated other rebels and government allied militias in the north. If Isaaq people become opposed to Somaliland, like myself and hargaysaay for instance, how come this Isaaqis take it personal? How come they telling us "your dismantling the only safe haven for Isaaq" whatever happened to not being "Isaaqland"???

The bastards don't make sense to me and they are very hypocritical and Allah is never on the side of such people. The general Isaaq public can't wait until the rest of the country recovers so they can come out of this confined project...this isolation where half of the people have gone crazy.

I will destroy them even more unless they turn the other way when I am around. I am against liars, scams and :-@

GeoSeven,

Are you Dhulo sxb? Yeah I believe all Somalis should be together regardless how bumpy the ride is. We can't give up and risk falling victim to bigger predators. We can't allow emotions to cloud our judgements.
I'm Hawaadle and yes I agree.

Hargaysaay yeah brother. Too often we keep quiet and allow a minority to hijack Isaaq people and their name for their selfish little projects/interests. I think now they know not all Isaaq will turn a blind eye to their stupid and outdated tribal things. It was okay 20 years ago.

I know plenty of Hawadle and Isaaq that intermarry. Hawadle intermarry a lot with HY especially for some reason. Just to name a few, Ismail Ali Abokor first wife is Hawadle/Cabdalle, a distant aunt of mine. Osman Jelle the old politician, this mans family is so literally intermarried with HY and other Isaaqs it's not even funny. His brother in law was Abdiqadir Koosaar from the SNM. Reer Hassan in Kenya, all intermarried with HY. My own uncle is married to a Musa Carre and my cousin is married to a Reer Ceynaashe. I know at least 10 Hawaadle/Isaaq families

Maybe my own mom is Ugaar Cumar or Musa Cabdalle

God knows how long but from what I heard the somaliland administration has received begger money in this year than what they received in the last 20 years!, I don't know from where but defo with accepting the cooperation its a good time for more development

Sahal,

Don't get me wrong sxb. I have nothing against Isaaq and I do not discredit what the ordinary people have done for themselves. I don't attack that mate. The secessionists try to portray me that way but clearly I am against secessionists.

There is difference between what the people have done and what secessionist administration has done. Name one thing the secessionist administration has done for the people in North Somalia?

What you see in Hargeisa and the rest of the northern cities is all private investment by ordinary Somalis from all over the Somali Peninsula; from the Coke plant by Djiboutians to Telesom by Hawiye to the hotels and Hawalas by Isaaq.

People need to differentiate the people and the secessionist crew. The picture you posted shows businesses and homes owned by ordinary Somalis many of them living abroad. Don't let the picture mislead you from far. If you go down below those apartments and glittering towers, you will see there are no roads, pavements, trash cleaning and this is where 'governments' and administrations shine.

And as usual, their incompetence has one explaining 'no ixtiraaf'. Always excuses. British didn't do anything because 'odayasha harag saxeexay'. "Aden Adde didn't do anything because Somalia was new". "Siad Barre didn't do anything because he hated Isaaq". It never ends. If they get recognition, tomorrow they will find another excuse.

I can't see the former house of Morgan in the picture and the secessionist administration is invisible like that but they like to take credit for what ordinary people have done including the current restaurant ops I mean airport.

 To the ordinary Isaaq brothers - secessionist administration and its small Diaspora crew.

which brings us back to the question.

How will giving up our independence to a non functioning divided state solve our problems?
The incompetence of all somaliland governments is undeniable, the lost oppurtunities the divide between rich and poor the manipulation of the people with clan politics is there for all to see.
How does rejoining a bigger failure than us solve our problems?

and again i repeat what economic benefits does this bring?
we didnt see any of it from 1960 till 1990?

Gurey25,

Sualo fiican weye and I like the fact that your openly embracing those things which the administration has failed. Insha Allah I will answer you soon :)

But I am not saying you take everything that you have in the south. I am merely saying the current isolation policy is good for no body. There is nothing wrong with engaging with the south.

In 1960 the mistake was northern mistake because the likes of Egal had selfish goals. They wanted to take advantage of the southerners but Karma brother, it back fired on them and Egal ended up at the bottom of the food chain.

First step is engaging with the rest of the Somali people. Step two stop playing the victim card. Third stop arresting people travelling to the south, its a free country. Its annoying when small regional administration acts like God and they think they can dictate where you go and where you cant.

Hawdian actually Cigaal was against that hasty union he took the flag to the south as a result of immense pressure from the public .
Him along with The Dhulbahante Garaad suggested patience and caution and that we should give a bit more time to get to know
Who were are merging with , even for his selfish political reasons its safe to say that he wanted to stay president for the north than
become prime minister in a united Somalia . some thing he had not accomplished until 7 years later that time .

hargaysaay,

I thought it was Michael Mariano who was opposed to the union along with the SPU but Egal rushed to Xamar even before Aden Adde. The Hawiye were surprised that day. Again few are misleading us and their way is throw it all or keep us all in the dark. Ma yaqanaan compromise and negotiation.

That's why I suggest moving the Somali capital from Xamar to the north like Erigavo. All you need to do is bribe Farole and get few Dir in the south to endorse it.
