breakthrough in addis talks

Postby sahal80 » Fri Aug 23, 2013 2:37 pm

I'm not going to anticipate but there has been in the last hours a significant breakthrough according to the somali websites but we can't trust them in the details. Still there are some points that are not yet agreed upon like the local cabinet and the parliament the result of the agreement will be annouced by tomorrow or later on this night.

Reportedly it was said that the kismaayo side have agreed changing the name from jubbaland to a jubba and gedo regions, its unknown yet if they accepted on the govt appointing local governors for middle jubba and gedo that fall under the interim administration of kismayo.

Govt delegation in the talks
From right an mp probably... I can only recognise sanbaloolshe the second, kamal gutaale... mp probably, farah abdulkadir, ahmed abdisalaam and xoosh with the shirt...mps probably.

We still don't know the name of this administration

It will be based on three provinces but its hard to tell how the system will be, whether local middle jubba and gedo governors that fall under the lower jubbas capital kismayo administration wich is likely to have president or the other sides point of view

As for the vice president of the administration, he is going to be from gedo but the govt wants a pro-govt man and madobe insists to keep his current gedo deputy fartaag, still they didn't agreed on this point. If fartaag was removed the govt will have more power in the administration.

I guess sheekhaal to represent middle jubba and gaaljecel the vice governor of lower jubba.

Ethiopia is abit neutral but is two faced atleast kenya is not two faced and gives arms and every thing to raas kambooni.

Ethiopia wants the govt to depend on it and keeps humilating it, plays this role each time they create a problem for the govt...now they want to be a broker who will also protect this administrations inistitutions until there can be a multi-amisom.

Uganda has no strategic interests in somalia except cashing from this role so its closer to the govt but what they did needs the support of amisom funders, they are even ready to send more 3000 troops to raise the number to 20,000 but they lack the resources

it was i who put the phrase kismayo interim administration of one year in google, i challange you to google it and find any date before my aged-months post...its wasnt prediction but an inside-info

 iga dambeeya hada ka bacdi

anyways i will stay away from this file as after this accord it will be a local policies wich i dont interest in them, i will move to another region with the govt since im interested in the govts policies.

since the last week i had no contacts from their side i dont know what is going there.

now to the talks, there is no more stalemate...and they agreed on most of the points, dont trust the somali websites...as im familiar with this polciy i can pick the right points they agreed upon them though not credible info

shaykh madoobe will be gudoomiyaha gobalada jubooyinka(this name is likely to be the official name of the administration for a compromise reason instead of jubooyinka iyo gedo though it includes gedo) for one year

gudoomiyaal hoose for middle jubba and gedo that fall under his administration

The govt to manage the port and the airport

-some thing with the army

Reconciliation in these regions

now the only point they still disagree on it is the govt oppointing the middle jubba and gedo governors, the govts says they already appointed a governor for gedo and want now to appoint another for middle jubba... the shaykh wants to appoint them.

The rest are all agreed upon them.

Its hard to convince the hardcore guys like you and others but the world wants to reach a compromise.

There is a clan pressure on villa somalia to send the interior to there saying farah cabdul qadir doesn't represent them. If he doesn't arrive before the signing of the agreement tomorrow he will get recognized.

Look this attack on farah cabdulqadir

Re: the agreement only waits for!

Postby sahal80 » Fri Aug 23, 2013 8:56 pm

Ok let me first correct myself; the agreement is ready but wasn't yet signed.

News are saying that the interior minister has arrived addis at the evening and it will be him who will sign for the govt tomorrow till then no official communique

The thiopian FM has congratulated the two sides

Shaykh ahmed madoobe and his deputy gen fartaag have been recognized after he fulfilled these conditions

He accepted his administration to be an interim one

He accepted to have a new name called maamulka jubooyinka without land!

He accepted the govt to manage the port and airport

He accepted the govt to appoint the local army commanders

He accepted the govt to have its officials in the administration.

Pm saacid has come up with another gedo man to replace fartaag but it become very hard to remove him as madoobe insisted in keeping him.

Wassalam a demain!

Its amazing that 2 Ethiopians from Kilinka 5aad are deciding the fate of a land that they are not native to.

If Garguurte signs this deal, he will face a MORSI fate. We are not going to allow another antiHawiye deal on Jubboyinka like the one which Sheik Sharif signed which allowed the Kenyans to become part of AMISOM. If the idiot had not agreed, the kenyans could have not afforded to stay for more than 90 days.
