PRESS RELEASE

Image

Puntland Government welcomes the Agreement signed in Addis Ababa on August 27 between the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and the Jubaland Administration, establishing the modalities of administration and governance in accordance with the agreed-upon Provisional Federal Constitution (PFC) of Somalia.

Puntland commends both Somali delegations for engaging in constructive dialogue, with the common purpose of building a federal, united and democratic Somalia.

Today’s meeting in Nairobi between the Puntland delegation led by President H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Mohamud (Farole) and the Jubaland delegation led by President H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Madobe) was focused on strengthening relations and cooperation between Puntland and Jubaland and shoring up support for the new agreement that establishes a recognized administration for Lower Jubba, Middle Jubba and Gedo regions, of southern Somalia.

Puntland recognizes and commends the important role played by the Ethiopian Government as Chair of IGAD and other international partners, including the European Union and the United Nations, in facilitating the week-long dialogue process in Addis Ababa between FGS and Jubaland delegations.

Puntland is ready to contribute to capacity-building assistance for Jubaland institutions and Puntland remains committed to supporting constructive political dialogue, national reconciliation and justice, and good governance to advance the prospects of lasting peace in Somalia.

--- END ---

The Majerteens made big u-turn in just 48 hours after they received a phone call from Addis Ababa: "Stop the tantrums or we will come to Garowe instead of Kismayo in six months time"...Farole went red like yanyo Afgoye like the Abgals would say and immediately issued this big u-turn "press release".

Good little Majerteen boys. Who is your daddy? What is the next tantrum about? Lets give Oxymoron 4 hours. He will inform us.

Don't waste your time in Nairobi, what Addis says is the only way forward.

OxyCalacaal is the most naive Majerteen I have seen since Ayan Hirsi Ali. He thinks the government of Somali Federal Republic will collapse because two Majerteens are mad because they won't get free ride to the pirate bases.

Little does he know the international community is pumping billions directly into this government for the first time in 22 years and every nation is reinstating its diplomatic ties. Before the end of the year, you will see the flags of France, China, Ethiopia, most Arab states, USA and most NATO members flying in Mogadishu.

For 15 years Garowe entertained itself with delusional games and now that they are once again reduced to nothing they are mad. For instance no one uses Bosaasso port any more because Mogadishu can't be matched...all the Majerteens are bankrupt, no port, no piracy money...no IC calacaal donations...of course their last resort is to try and undermine Hassan Sheikh Mohamud....aan ka amusne marduuf so tuur weye.

I understand their game and frustrations.

^^^Naaya Do you have evidence that Puntland did not agreed with the agreement 48 hours ago, any evidence such as audio or video would be OK that Faroole said he opposed it.

Why are they mad at P/L?
From the pictures and press releases the two regions(J/L &P/L), will be working very closely together.

Is this what is giving the Hagites sleepless nights?
