i dont get clan demographics in south Somalia. i taught mareexans only lived in geddo and NFD and parts of K5
Marehan live in Southern Mudug and North Galgaduud. In Ethiopia they live in Wardheer and Liibaan Zone. In Southern Somalia they live in Gedo, Middle Jubba and Lower Jubba. And in NFD they live in Mandera and some villages near the border all the way to Wajir.

But their ancestral home was from Saylac to Bari and had big influence in the old city of Harar

Mudug is equal to Hyperbolic time chamber. Clans have to stay fit and ready for war there.

One of the best decisions the Kacaan made was separating Galgaduud from Mudug.

Marehans do live in Mudug and Galagaduud. have you ever heard of walaalaha galagaduud. but they are minorities compared to HG in those regions. they have there own cities like Cabduwaaq is a marehan city in galagaduud and they live in the other cities with HG also. like Gelinsoor, and Dhuusamareeb.

Saylac to Bari was our ancestral home. And we lived large in Harar during the fight against Abyssinia. Current day you can find Marehans in Harar.

And yes we do live in Wardheer, villages like Cilaanle, Dubba, Qilaafo. Even Siad Barre was born in Wardheer. There is no lie with what I state.

Its a coalition of Marehan and Habar Gidir. During late 1990's. Dominating the Southern Somalia during that era.
