A conference on the formation of a central administration has begun today in nairobi backed by the somali interior minister

Hiiraan governor has made clear weeks ago that the term gobolada dhexe is a geographical term not a cultural or political term as some want to change it and that hiiraan will never be part of such administration

Ahlussuna has criticised the conference blaming the interior minister on this.

Ximan iyo xeeb president who is in the conference says that the govt has welcomed this initiative and supports the conference

One wonders why the conference being held in nairobi instead of mogadisho? Just shows the people who are organizing it being a bunch of money grabbers who are after the nairobi NGOs

unite yourself first before you could talk about a federal state that includes mudug, galgaduud and hiiraan!!

Mogadishu (RBC) The moderate Islamist group in Somalia has criticized a conference due to open in Nairobi, Kenya which the elders and politicians hailing from central Somalia regions were discussing on administration making for Galgadud, Hiran and Mudug regions, RBC Radio reports.
Sheikh Abdirisak Ali Mire Ashcari, the chairperson of Ahlusuna executive council said his group will not attend the conference in Nairobi as he called the participants to withdraw.
“This conference is pushed by the Interior Ministry of the Federal Government of Somalia. We will not support any of the outcome of this conference.” Sheikh Al Ashcari said.

Ahlusuna chair blamed the Interior Minister of Somalia for launching non-inclusive process for the administration making in Somalia.
“The Minister is dividing the legal administration in Somalia.” he added.
Ahlusuna which is a moderate Sufi has had a strong militias which fought against Al Shabab in its central Somalia stronghold of Galgadud region.
The group’s call as a wider consultation conference is due to open in Nairobi next week which some say that it was co-planned by the Interior Ministry of the Federal Government of Somalia.

First unite Ximan&Xeeb with Galmudug, than go to Dhusomareeb and talk to the Sufis, than finish off Al Shabab from Ceelbur and than as a united entity invite Hiiraan. That would be the way to go. Clearly Hiiraan does not want to join them so my advice to them is have the government change the 2 or more states rule to form a federal state otherwise it's doomed.

First of all, the first conference was held in Muqdisho. This was the second conference and it's was held Nairobi. The third conference will be held either in Xamar or in gobolada dhexe. As you can see in the video, it was attended by the presidents of X&X and Galmudug. The governors of galgaduud (Cirfo) and SH/Dhexe (Cabdi Jiinow). The IC, SFG and the head of CRD Jibriil Ibraahim. A future federal state consisting of South Mudug, Galgaduud and Sh/dhexe. Sounds nice.
I'm glad Mudulood, Gaaljecel and Shiidle chose HG over Xawaadle. Hiiraan can join either D&M or stay on it's own. No biggie.

First convince Hiiraan let alone Shabeele dhexe which is not even considered Central Somalia. Even Ceeldheer would never be part of a Central Somalia state. Both Shabeele and the coast of Galgadud is the plan and thus meeting the 2 state and more federal state requirement

Hiiraan is electing its official governor for 4 years in agreement with president hassan during his last visit. Abdikarim was stopped he is not allowed to talk about hiiraan.

No one imposes on any region federalism, this is just a condition for the ones who want to be a federal state like galmudug to unite with other regions otherwise they are not a federal state.

In hiiraan we will be like the kirkuk of iraq: a governorship that is free from shia, akraad and sunna.


Even if we need it we have borders with 5 gobols and will join non galgaduud and centrals.

You had walaalaha galgaduud, ahlusuuna so I don't see you would have a problem with that since your politically allied.

Like Sahal and the conference in Nairobi is saying Hiiraan will not be part of the HG led Federal state but Sade Darood which is only 25% minority in the Galgaduud will join forcefully hence why Ahlu Sunnah Wasn't invited in the Nairobi conference, Nomad think logically at what your saying, a 25% minority (DAROOD) in a region (Galgaduud) trying to built a federal state won't have a say !!!

The way the conference in Nairobi is happening, I think it's heading to Galmudug,Ximan xeeb,Galgaduud and S/Dhexe federal state led by HG!
