The Disintegration of Ethiopia:TPLF’s Planned Prophecy,.....#

By: Michael Deribe

As the reading public knows the theme of the disintegration of Ethiopia has been written about and talked about for a long time. A long list of brilliant writers has contributed numerous articles on websites. However, most of these contributions ( English and Amharic) are read and forgotten.
Mindful of the fact that this is an age of visuality, we have come to the conclusion that the most effective way to connect the various dots of the narrative on “Greater Tigray” is to use the form of the documentary, guided by interviews with the leading experts and communicate in our own native language, Amharic, and reach every Ethiopian in the cities, villages, and work places of Ethiopian public.
We are inviting you to read the piece because we know that you are patriotic, courageous and highly informed individuals committed to the ideal of a prosperous and free Ethiopia.
We are equally aware that the material below is not new to you, however, we also know that our dream of reaching Ethiopians through the venue of the documentary is also your dream and your hope.
We are ready and willing to work with you as you lend us your expertise, your long experience and resources to realize this project immediately, as time is running out and the oppression of our beloved people is getting worse by the second, as the planned prophecy of disintegrating Ethiopia is taking place right in front of our eyes.
The time to act is now, and the form of acting is the production of a compelling documentary. We need resources, expertise, and most specifically potential interviewees, whom you know are the key to the realization of this timely project.

“If Ethiopia disintegrates, so be it! It was not meant to be!” - Meles Zenawi
The Disintegration of Ethiopia: TPLF’s Planned Prophecy
BACKGROUND
The disturbing political events concerning the perennial status of Ethiopian territories is not an isolated incidence, performed by an incompetent regime, as many Ethiopians innocently think. No, that is too simple. The tyrannical regime of the Meles- Sebhat, “palace group” had been planning and masterminding the territorial rape of the historic Ethiopia, whose sustained history of valor, greatness and spirituality continues to be the source of pride of black people, all over the world.
The palace group had long planned to violate Ethiopia’s momentous history and history momentous by dividing Ethiopia into isolated Bantustans and replace the historic Ethiopia by the illusory and dangerous vision of Greater Tigray, as if one could envision Tigrai outside of Ethiopia, and classical Ethiopia without the wondrous Axum, Adwa, and the center pieces of Ethiopian civilization.
The pivot to an understanding of the mystical handouts of Ethiopian territories to the Sudan, which has offended Ethiopian sensibilities, is the dispassionate analysis of a notorious program, called the 1976 TPLF manifesto. A level headed analysis of this document will contextualize and situate the recent acts of the regime in power.
Below the Ethiopian people will be exposed to crucial information on the question of Ethiopian sovereignty as leading experts analyze the 1976 Manifesto, and the planned acts of disintegrating Ethiopia, and the resultant vision of constructing Greater Tigray, that the tyrannical regime is carrying out callously and deliberately.
The thesis of the experts is that the disintegration of Ethiopia is a planned prophecy, and that this is the master objective of the regime in power.
Highly credible Ethiopian writers have recently argued that the ongoing crumble of the Historic Ethiopia is not an accident. The notion of Greater Tigray, as a counter to the historic Ethiopia was articulated in a foundational manifesto in 1976. This aggressive plan is buttressed by the following elements.
The identity of Meles Zenawi as one of the architects of Greater Tigrai and acts of systematic brainwashing along Orwellian lines of redefining Truth by force to achieve the disintegration of Ethiopia according to the TPLF Manifesto of February 1976 is the key to understanding current treasonous actions of this criminal organization. There the document makes the following points:
• All Tigreans, who speak Tigrinya (Sahos, Afar and Taltal, the Agew, and the Welkait) must be part of Greater Tigray. These people must be incorporated in the fold of Independent Tigray.
• The new Tigray extends to Sudan including Humera and Welkait, regions of Wollo and Alamata, Ashengie, kobo, Eritrean Kunama, the Saho and Afar lands.
• The final goal of TPLF is to secede from Ethiopia as an independent “Republic of Tigray”.
Redefinition of Ethiopian boundaries through relocating nationalities, acquiring Humera, Begemidir, Wollo’s Raya, Zalambesa.
Given the goals above, a series of systematic dismantling of Ethiopia have begun long time ago!!

TPLF’S SYMBOLIC ACTIONS
The systematic dismantling of Ethiopia is manifest in deliberate strategies of disinformation, reordering of history, rewriting of sacrosanct Ethiopian history and vagrant and vulgar acts of brainwashing of the population. Consider the following symbolic actions below aiming at the emergence of Greater Tigray.
• Demonizing Ethiopian figures and historic figures such as Emperor Minilik, and the Ethiopian flag itself, as it hase been done for the past 17 years by Mr. Meles Zenawi and other TPLF officials.
• Stating the notion that Ethiopia is only 100 years old and brainwashing the population
• Alienating land and economic resources for the vast majority of Ethiopians.
• Their attempt to take the annual Adwa Battle Victory Celebration to Mekelle by asserting that the victory is only Tigrayan and not Ethiopian.

BUILDING “INDEPENDENT” TIGRAY AND DISINTEGRATING THE REST OF ETHIOPIA

Setting the stage for the independence of Tigray is the major plan of the regime. This plan has several dimensions, political, economic and strategic. The points below outline the three dimensions respectively.
POLITICAL
• The imprisonment or prosecution of TPLF members who may oppose the idea of “Greater Tigray” or those who have pride in their Ethiopiawinet by charging them of corruption or getting them killed by an assassin…Example, Mr. Siye Abraha, General Hayelom etc.
• The accusation of the Ethiopian peaceful opposition party officials of “Genocide against Tigrayans” as a way of appearing the protectors of Tigray people.
• Meles’ speech at a TPLF rally in which he told the gatherers that he is proud to have been born from a “golden people” and not from their “cousins” – the rest of Ethiopians.
• Mr. Sebhat Nega’s recent interview regarding their quest to maintain the independence of Eritrea and his assertion that TPLF cares more about Eritrea’s independence than any other Eritrean organization.
• EPRDF’s effort in ratifying article 39 which gives states the right to secede and Mr. Sebhat’s recent assertion that Ethiopian people of different regions of ethnicities should hold on to their “rights” granted to them by article 39 of the TPLF crafted constitution. Perhaps they are planning to force them to use it later!
• Mr. Sebhat Nega’s most recent interview in which he made clear that if EPRDF’s power is threatened that Ethiopia will disintegrate.
• The signing of the illegal document at Algiers giving back Badme which Tens of thousands of Ethiopians died for.
• The secret deal with the Sudanese government to give thousands of kilometers of land to Sudan.
TPLF has annexed by force of arms Raya, Azebo, Alamata and Ofla from Wollo Province, and Humera, Wolkait, and Tsegede from Gondar Province, which have never been part of Tigrai, and evicted the natives and settled some 700,000 Tigrean farmers and soldiers on their land. This action completed the geographic aspect of the greater Tigray republic outlined on the 1976 TPLF manifesto.
• The fact that Meles’ assertion that “Ethiopia does not need doctors” is not a tongue slip but an actual plan to destroy the many core institutions of our nation…for example, The Ethiopian Navy, The Ethiopian Army, and The Ethiopian Airforce, but in this case the Ethiopian Health institution.
• The excessive violence and relentless cruelty waged in Ogaden for example has created resentment on the part of the victims, who promise themselves not to ever consider themselves as Ethiopians. This heinous crime is facilitating the regimes plan of disintegrating Ethiopia by increasing the numbers of Ethiopians, who are being forced to hate the idea of Ethiopianity, since the regime continues to use excessive cruelty and develop Ethiopians who hate Ethiopian, and therefore resent the very idea of Ethiopiawinet.
ECONOMIC
• An international airport at Mekele, to cutoff Tigray from the rest of Ethiopia, and the long term plan of relocating the Ethiopian Air force.
• Building many colleges in Mekele for the future educational infrastructure of Greater Tigray
• Cement, Textile, Electricity Dam, Marble and pharmaceutical factories built or in the process of being built.
• The disappearance of Ethiopian Gold reserves and its cover up by bank worker corruption as well as the killing of the head of Ethiopia’s commercial bank.
STRATEGIC
• After Tigray’s infrastructure is in place, the plan is to leave Ethiopia without a central government after destroying its infrastructure and made easy to control it from Tigray.
• As a matter of fact, a 22 page TPLF secret document on speeding up the infrastructure building of Tigray to enable it to survive alone “if necessary” was prepared by Meles Zenawi and was circulated within the TPLF executive committee.
• In fact “if necessary” the regimes lingua of mystification implies that the necessity of realizing the dream is underway, and that the plan is a planned prophecy.

I believe thats just wishful thinking,Ethiopia has a strong monarchistic institutions i very doubt it will disintegrate Ethiopia existed for so many centuries , the problem with Somalis they try to apply Ethiopia situation for the Somali situation , Ethiopians are very responsible people and understand how to work out a working system despite their differences in language and religion and ethnicity. The core foundations of the Ethiopian state is so strong that, Ethiopians are not Somalis , when Somalis have a fight a Somali can run away with his land and no one to question him only if the clan issue is involved. With Ethiopia the militaristic institutions were never undermined or totally destroyed. When the TPLF and EPLF forces were closing into addis ababa in 1991. The main military chiefs of the army were besieged just 15 km outside of addis ababa. Mengistu central command broke , he flew the country the EPLF and TPLF forces filled the vacuum directly installed an interim Military general and put their militia in charge and forced Ethiopian Generals to take orders from General Hayelom Araya commander of the TPLF. Somalis do not have a sense of nationhood ,we managed only to stay together for 30 years , 30 turbulent years we went twice to war with Ethiopia and sponsored a shifta up-rise in Kenya, in those 30 years our entire nationalistic goals were an ethno nationalistic goal which never existed before but a brand new political concept. The union between Somaliland and Somalia was overhasty we never worked it out in details but it was one based on emotions you are Somali and i am Somali lets unite. But we never asked each other how are we going to build a nation together what are our values traditions political goals. 18 years later Somalis already dropped the Somaliweyne ambitions and were pointing their guns towards Somalia. Because the Somali nationalism was to be honest one that was conceived with very weak political foundations it ambiguity stopped making sense to Somalis It was easily undermined by Somalis and those who wanted to stop Somaliweyn. Any way the Xabashi disintegration has a long way to go the only province that broke away from Ethiopia was Eritrea. So i doubt very much the Tigre will divide Ethiopia.
