This is a forum, just like the eydoors make countless threads about Konfuur, Kismaayo, Lower Shabelle, Mogadishu etc I will make a thread about Eydoorland and any town of Northern Somalia let it be SSC or Awdal/Salal.

I can understand Somalilanders making topics/post about Somalia or someone from Somalia making a topic about Somaliland. Makes sense. We all like to dabble in topics and discuss.

and Somaliland isn't? besides that the A after Somali is commonly used in international standards, India, Bolivia, Nigeria, Algeria, Syria. Just like the French say Somalie instead of Somalia. It's just international grammar. Astleast there is no foreign word next to Somalia like land.

Liberia and Ethiopia were never colonised yet they use latin suffix. It has nothing to do with being colonised. Also Somalia had several names under colonialism such as Somalia Italiana, Italian Somaliland, Ultra Jubba etc.
