Muslim brotherhood declared

Postby Bermooda » Wed Dec 25, 2013 12:00 pm

A terrorist organization with it starting the disintegration of Egypt.

Egypt formally declares MB as terrorist group

The Egyptian government on Wednesday formally declared the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization and banned its protests nationwide.

Minister of Higher Education Hossam Eissa read out the Cabinet statement after a long meeting on Wednesday.

"The Cabinet has declared the Muslim Brotherhood group and its organization as a terrorist organization," Eissa said.

Interim Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi previously described the Muslim Brotherhood on Tuesday as a terrorist group following a deadly attack on a security building in the city of Mansoura.

Saudi Arabia, which backed the Egyptian government after Mursi’s ouster, condemned terrorism in Egypt on Wednesday. A Royal Court statement said the kingdom “stand heart and mind with its Egyptian brothers.”

The attack killed 14 people and wounded at least 130 others and came just weeks before a referendum on a new constitution that is billed as the first major step toward democracy since the military-backed ouster of Islamist president Mohammad Mursi in July.

The Muslim Brotherhood and the so-called anti-coup alliance condemned the attack saying they activities do not include violence and accused the notorious security regime of former President Hosni Mubarak, which they say has returned, of plotting the bombing and blaming it on the Muslim Brotherhood.

“The Muslim Brotherhood considers this act as a direct attack on the unity of the Egyptian people and demands an enquiry forthwith so that the perpetrators of this crime may be brought to justice.”

The state-run Middle East News Agency quoted Beblawi as saying that those responsible for blast “will not escape punishment.”

The impact of the explosion was felt around 20 kilometers away and shattered windows of nearby buildings, the security sources said.

The head of security for Daqahleya, Sami El-Mihi, was wounded in the blast and two of his aides were killed, security sources said.

There has been widespread bloodshed in Egypt since Mursi’s ouster.

He was forced from power on July 3 after massive street protests against his turbulent one-year rule, with millions accusing him of power-grabbing and economic mismanagement.

More than 1,000 people have been killed in a government crackdown on his supporters, mostly from the Brotherhood.

The crackdown has also seen thousands of Islamists, including the entire leadership of the Brotherhood, arrested.

The movement’s top leaders -- including its general guide, Mohammad Badie -- have been put on trial. Mursi too is on trial over several charges including some related to the deaths of protesters during his presidency.

Good news. This is gonna radicalize the MB, opening the way for it to join the global Islamic insurgency. Also, no Islamic party is gonna bother with pursuing a democratic process 'cause it isn't worth. It will take time, but I don't think al-Sissi and his cronies can prevail against the Islamists.

Truth be told....I was glad to see the back of Morsi....he was a US/Zionist stooge.

He continued the siege on Gazza...can you believe that?
Morsi was videoed publicly calling for jihad in Syria...one of last Arab resistant states to US/Israel aggression.
The IMF was allowed into Egypt to wreak their "neoliberal", havoc.
He reversed Mubaraks datente with Iran.....which had Israel shitting their pants.
Basically he rolled over and was having his belly tickled by the West.

How do these two claims reconcile?

-Morsi is a Zionist stooge.
-Morsi re-established relations with Iran, making the Zionists shitting in their pants.

If your claim is right, how do you explain the coup?

the zionist elements within the muslim brotherhood feared that if the muslim brotherhood took over, they'll be expected to cut ties with israel, lift the gaza blockade, and create stronger islamic ties within the surrounding muslim countries and also empowering the palestinian resistance. so, in order to not expose the zionist elements within the muslim brotherhood (because they won't do any of those things), the military was send to take over in a orchestrated "coup" to legitimize the muslim brotherhood more and to carry out zionist plans as expected by everyone.

in the end of the day, the 75% of the muslim civilians that want to see a free palestine, who think that the muslim brotherhood are the solution have been made to still think that the muslim brotherhood is working for the betterment of the muslims of egypt, palestine and islam at large. :pac:

Arabman.....read carefully before commenting.
Morsi reversed Mubaraks detente with Iran...ie Mubarak was forging closer ties with Iran....Israel/US were opposed to this.
Morsi was overthrown because the US/Israel want to see chaos and instability in every Muslim country.

The Iraqization of Egypt http://www.juancole.com/2013/12/iraqiza ... soura.html :meles:

Then you have people like Arabman who applaud all the chaos and carnage across the Muslim world. The bloodletting and destruction is good for them, nihilists.

This has been the US/Zionist blueprint for the last few decades....creative chaos & the arc of instability throughout the Muslim/Arab world.
Dupes like Arabman play into the hands of those whom wish to destroy Islam as a political force.
By unleashing these head chopping, throat slitting, women stoning bearded fanatics across the Muslim world, will guarantee Western hegemony over pathetic fragmented states engaged in endless sectarian wars.
