The status quo is not to bad but who said it was caused by Xabashida it was caused by Somalis stop blaming others ,, saacjabse you can keep crying but u will never see a united Somali republic, the daroods are now playing the emotional carrying card.
Khalid you not getting my point. For example if Somalia becomes completely independent and united, free from Ethiopian/Kenyan/amisom violence and political meddling, id back tomorow morning. That's why I am for Somali unity. However you are happy with Somaliyo being separated into small tribal fiefdoms that are either fighting or suspicious of one another. You are even willing to advice amxaarta to keep this in place. Now why dont you go and live there and give up your life in Holland? Since the status quo you love soo much is in place and working fine?

I understand Somalida are their own worst enemy, but you cant deny that this has been a big advantage Ethiopia.

No you wont go back actually i am planning to move back in a year or 2 permanently so u cant judge me, you on the other hand is a homeless darood you have no place to go back to. There are many Somalilanders who returned back home and did well there. People will always seek their personal interest but Somaliland will and shall always be an independent state. Amxaarta is not my worry they live in gonder and gojjam. if u know Somalis are each others worse enemies stop blaming the xabashis and move along darood kid

Its funny how somalis are talking from qabiil perspective and some have their sub-tribal lenses on, no-one is speaking from an all encompassing somali perspective. This is clear proof that the ethiopians have won in dividing and breaking the somalis down so that the see eachother as enemies. This is our current defeated predicament.
Nearly 90 years ago when the Italians were defeated by the somali forces whom lived in the hobyo sultanate; the italians exploited qabiil divisions and the rebllion was then quelled. 90 yeas later any power can take a leaf out of the italian book.

Am not a Darood.

Khalid we both know those people come back eventually because their child have to go to university here or health care or once they see life back home they cant get used it. There are countless of reasons why they comeback. Am just giving you the most popular reasons. End of the day xabashi will destroy any organization that's pro unity and since I cant do nothing about it, Ill always highlight it where ever its appropriate. Let's see in 2yrs time if you go back home and enjoy the status quo.

Estarix there was never a Collective Somali cause, for example you talk about italians in Somalia , we have never seen those italians nor their divisive politics as you claim, stop blaming italians for your problems, the Somalis in kenya never seen those italians nor the Somalis in Djibouti and Somaliland. Stop trying to rally Somali ethno nationalism behind an Italian cause.

There was somai ethno nationalism in the 1940s (syl), 1950s (syl), 1960s (civil government), 70s and the 80s until the country broke when armed millitia turned towards dismantelling the state ( they originaly attempted to create a "somali" movement and not an isaaq or mj one but they could not gain much support from outside their clans). The gov tfg and tng was an attempt to restore the government of the past but failed. But for the most of our history since the country was given independence their was somali ethno nationalism. At the moment the FG is a representative of that.
As for pre - colonial period their was no somali ethno nationalism in the same way there was lacked malay ethno nationalism or even before the late 1880s there was no italian ethno nationalism but one was created so that a people who share culture, language and religion and to an extent ethnicity could be united. The same thing for germany. If you go far for most of the world most people had no ethno nationalism and all were created when the peripheral territories came into contact with civillization.

But now there has been somali ethno nationalism and the reality shows that we cant escape as much as we want to.

p.s are you not quilty of the same thing as there was never a somaliland ethno nationalism, that the isaaq-dir-harti darood clans have not all been united before the colonists.

i dont mind if you keep your ethno Somalia nationalism based spaghetti eating and other Italian sausages confined inbetween raaskambooni to rascaseer, if you keep that we dont have a problem, the Somali movements end 70s and 80s were the best thing that ever happened to the defunct Somali republic. It was all natural to break the cancerous union it was not a healthy union it was a union based on fear and illogical ethno Somali expansion into Kenya and ethiopia and Djibouti, it was a union that was enforced under a military control, look at Somalia and Somaliland today its much better , the Puntlanders are given the freedom to hijack ships. The Hawiyes can be Hawiyes in their Mogadishu no one stopping them all the freedom of the world. The isaaq can be isaaq in their Somaliland. Irrational Xabashi mythical hatred and creating fear among Somalis that there is a Xabashi boogeyman out there to get them under the Military rule back in the days this myth have been busted thanks to Somalilanders and puntlanders and later Hawiyes no longer fear bantus ugandans there was a time Somalis feared bantus and xabashis but no longer

I cannot stop you and your tol from pursuing tribal interests if that's what you want All i know so far is that it has proven to be off little beneift to the somali people. As we are divided, extremely poor and at the mercy of ethiopians to the extent when a somali barks in a way they disapprove off they will bully and reprimand you . This is not a good look however you put it.

As for your history lesson; everyone knows that the Socialist government was oppressive but thats no reason run away from somali ethno nationalism. How i see it tribe doesnt get you far anyways because its a victim of itself it breaks down to the sub sub sub sub sub clan level to the point where only your family is left ( i remember there was a quote for that somewhere - me against the world and me agains my tribe). This is not a way to rule a nation, you gotta move forward and think big; at the moment the only people maintaining this system are the somalis themselfes and it can end in a month if somalis chose to; but they are the reason for why somalia and the rest of the world is suffering.

Meta it was Hawiye who stopped the great Oromo expansion into Ogaden it was Hawiye who mostly volunteered to fight for your cause in 77 it was Hawiye who was helping ONLF while others including your Darood family were selling your kin (whether innocent or not) back to Meles.

Did some of your kin help us during Ethiopian invasion yes but what Hawiye has done for your kin can never be repaid. Remember how your leader Madobe was saying he was Hawiye in the 90's cos he knew his history. ps khalid you are starting to sound like Hawdian just saying
