There are a lot of mps who are againist this saying this is againist the constitution given rights of the citizens

No its not club but a membership, they would send you their news wich they can say it officially but some member must connect you them and give them your email.

My Topic the President won the battle against Saacid, but lost the War for strong President

Abdi Farah Shirdoon Saacid was one weak and ineffective Prime Minister. I called for his ouster back in June. I supported him now for displaying what I wanted---proper application of constitutional roles.

But through his efforts recently up to resisting until Parliament voted, Saacid did more to aid my cause then would have happened if he won.

First he showed that a PM can only be fired by a Parliament. Second he showed EVERY SINGLE PM AFTER HIM it doesn't pay to be that compromising, taking that back seat approach. They must be assertive, strong, take advantage of their constitutional powers and build their own political space. They will reap nothing being the shadow of the President as if they are the symbolic title.

In the future, Hassan Sheikh will only have powers over the PM until he is official named and approved by Parliament. Once that happen, I do not imagine a single Somali exists that will be as compromising as Saacid was and so the man has seen the heyday of his political strength.

My friend in my opinion the centralist dam jadid are good for somalia. The problem of this pm is that he is too professional like yussur abraar, he has no clan tactics at all except the "people" it was totally wrong to repeat the same mistakes.

However, I said HIS WAR will be with the next pm, after getting many facts I found out it is not happening to oust hassan sheekh and that he is different than abdullahi yusuf bc of this govt being a permanent govt and every thing has to solved through the institutions? Hassan sheekhs hiden card is the constitution reformation and this problem may make him stronger when he gets more authorities including firing the pm!.

Yes this pm seems to have coqdad about the ministers who were againist saacid except gacal the guy who brought him and is againist the FM!.

No the constitution is not the word of God and must not be upheld if its against the Interest of the Somali people. I say to hell with this constitution, it has caused us so many problems, am totally against it. I think the gov should work systematically to reform this constitution in the interest of the country.
