Why not sentence Xassan daahir aweys to death if they were sincere isn't he a terrorist who killed so many people?

Xoogaa bal siyaasada ammeey kaa qaldantahay...he sought refuge in the government so they offered him amnesty. I'm sure if Godane surrendered and pleaded guilty for his wrongdoings he won't be killed. If Amnesty is offered to all rebels who turn themselves in, it could achieve a lot more in ending the War in Somalia.

Btw it's not fair to accuse Godane of being pro Somaliland and anti Muqdisho. He came in 2007 under the leadership of Cayrow and when Cayrow passed away it was passed on to Timajili (Gaaljecel) then after it was passed to Godane. Godane was the better option because had the leadership gone to a Darood there would have been immediate division in the ranks. Thats why Isaaq members of Alshabaab were given lucrative positions like head of Kismaayo and head of Alshabaab, they are a lot more neutral in the clan wars than other tribes.

So if godane and sheikh cali dhere surrender they will be given amnesty are u sure after all the attacks suicide attacks killings even in Kenya, that is possible , i think they made an exception for daahir aweys.

Daahir Aweys is more respected because waa oday Soomaaliyeed, inkastoo kursiga iska raacdeynayay, weligiis muusan jeclayn xasuuq in lagu qaado dadwaynaha...during his time in Baraawe he made many speeches condemning attacks on civilians and hence Shabaab chased him out because they know he can sway the population against them. So why should the government hurt him knowing he is a valuable asset?

As much as we dislike Godane and Cali Dheere, they are our sons so it's disgraceful that you mention the killings in Kenya, especially seeing as KDF soldiers have done much worse to our citizens for years. You can judge these two men for what they have done to Somali people, but don't mention some worthless kikuyus please.

Marques, Godane will have to face a death penalty along with his high command. What they have done cannot be forgiven in any way. How will justice ever prevail if people like them are freed?

Lol@ Oday Somaliyeed remember the intense fighting in Mogadishu in 2009 when Aweys arrived from asmara and he came to Mogadishu and he formed xisbal islam aka xisbal xasuuq and over 300 people died in Mogadishu in lest than a week, that was terrible to see shelling neighborhoods innocent civilians caught in the fire. Daahir aweys is the father of terrorism , for what do they actually want to use aweys gave up and surrendered he is no use to any one other than using him a political tool to win other shabaabist over , still he is pretty useless. Marques we should never condone the attacks in Kenya in nairobi innocent people lost their lives we should have morals , yes Kenyans have killed innocent civilians in Somalia , but does that justify to kill innocent civilians in Kenya?

hydrogen, can we even confirm the existence of Godane? I've heard his name for years now but not a single photo release.

khalid, it is difficult to use the court justice against Aweys, why should he be killed when many parliamentarians themselves played a role in the civil war? Ahmed Madoobe is the head of Jubba Admin and he was anti government for many years too, so was Indhacadde etc. Until Somalia gets on its feet, it must put sentencing politicians to death on hold. My outburst against Kenyans is wrong, but it hurts me that the Kenyan government has not made a single charge against any of its troops for their actions against Somali civilians, by the same token why should our government hold its citizens responsible for what they did to Kenyans? War Soomaali Maxamad baan nahay, waa kaa kuheesi jirnay inankaan la magac ahay sankuneefle ma ogoli inuu iga sarreyn karo  Marka adeer Soomaali qadiyadeeda hala hormarsho.

This thinking is what has led to ever increasing Amisom deployments.
If the Somali Govt refuses to fight "our sons", the bantu/xabashi will do it....for a price of course.

Tarsan rageedi waye. First he dealt with Faysal Warabe and now he is dealing with Godane. This is what we need more of. Did Faysal Warabe even reply to the Tarsan? or did he run off like a injured Hyena

its quite stupid.. hasan sheikh should try and get them through a peace talk.
I mean the military skills those guys have are 100x more effective than amisom.

if he does that then he wont have to hide in a tank.

everyone know faysal talks too much....but as for godane, the tarzan guy should have his ropes ready to swing from tree to tree. cuz dealing with a guy like godane is serious. there are reports he already attacked Mogadishu airport after his remark.

The sad truth is that the southern elites (those whom have/continue to profit from instability), care nothing for their peoples suffering.
As long as they can continue their racketeering they don't give a damn about anything else.

Now is the time to forget about the south....the multi track approach is already back in use.
Every region must develop independently of the "Govt", in a tank. :D :som:

The sad thing is most of those wreching hovac in Muqdisho are Hawiye sub clan. The most notorious Al shabab supporters in Muqdisho are Murursade, Saleebaan and Duduble. The recent bombing of Al jaziira hotel was carried out by Murursade. The interesting thing is the hotel is owned by Murursade. So this got nothing to with Isaaq or Somaliland. This merely hutu on hutu violence :demonic:

If Godane was a darood...they,d be saying p/l blah blah blah.
The facts speak for themselves....every assistance has been provided to Mog.....and still there yet to make first base.

Even discussing them is pointless.....we may as well be discussing the low land mountain gorilla.
