At the moment the govt has its priorities, this is for the long term

Though calling the regional oil contracts being "null and void" there is a difference between oil exploration contracts and oil producing contracts. Companies may dare to sign oil exploration contracts with the regional authorities to determine the presence or absence of OIL&GAS in somalia but the process of oil dealings starts after its presence was announced!

Like most of the countries except the capitalist westren countries where individuals own the oil companies, the somali govt has established a national petroleum company wich supposedly owns the petrolium resources, only this company will issue the licences...

As for the other resources, The new somali finance minister will implement a new policy that will make the ports just like the mogadishu port where foreing comapanies with a private security manage them and their reveneus go only to the central govt!

Politically, the govt will influence the local elections!

The somali president says the country hasn't decided yet wich kinda of fadaralism they will adopt? A two federal regions or 4? Or?!

No constitution without referendum besides the revision that the parliament committes will start it!

The new somali FM has arrived addis ababa to partake the african FMs summit in addis ababa ahead of the leaders summit. The somali president will be there on 29 of this month. This summit is economical though the leaders may exchange the political situations on the sidelines of the summit.

How can anybody suggest the revenues from Somalia's ports should go to the central govt?
The former FM was accused by one of her own diplomatic staff of pocketing four million dollars meant for embassies/missions.

Clearly there are those whom think the central govt should be run like some sort of black market racket.

Its not a suggestion, its a new policy that the new finance minister will carry out.

So let's get this straight....even though the central Govt is riddled with corruption....they want the rest of the countries revenue to loot.

yes puntland is a federal state at the moment because it controls its land but in the long term they will have problem with the central govt when it comes to the resources. the south are shabaabland and I don't see any differences between lower juba, gedo and hiiraan. Hiiraan even will elect its leader without carrying such interim title.

The point is there is no federalism at all in the south and things are heading centralism secondly.

The problem is You are quoting Xassan Sh, but He his word doesn't have much power as of the moment. The Federal model is what the Int'l community are pushing in Somalia, and Xassan Sh's role will be to recognize whatever admin the Int'l community tells Him to recognize i.e Jubba.

At the figures and numbers, fixed!

Punland has already signed an agreement with the central govt wich gives her a share in its port and airport revenues, integrating its army in the SNA but this agreement hasn't being implemented by the govts side because the issue between puntland and the central govt is more political than a federal one, its about the puntlands political roles in the govt and the south generally, now things seem to be about between the two sides and may restore the relations.

When I'm saying those in the north need the govts stamp its that way, that agreement states doladu ufodudaso(govt to facilitate)
