turkey is mediating between the govt and puntland region

Post by sahal80 »

the relation between the govt and puntland is getting better as there were visits from the puntland side like its president and education minister who has spent a week in mogadishu but like i said before that turkey is one of the designers of the somali strategy in order to help the somali govt to bring back this country together by using its economical means.

"Turkiga oo waanwaan ka dhex wada Puntland iyo dowladda Federaalka
Published: March 6, 2014
Kn: Maanta magaalada Garoowe waxaa gaaray wafti uu hogaaminayo safiirka dalka Turkiga u fadhiya Soomaaliya Danjire Kani Torun, wararka ay Kn heleysana waxa ay sheegayaan in mid ka mid ah ajandayaasha socdaalka uu yahay in wadahadal laga dhex bilaabo maamulka Puntland iyo dowladda federaalka.

Shalay madaxweynaha Puntland Cabdiwali Gaas ayaa sheegey in uu diyaar u yahay in laga wada hadlo sidii loosoo celin lahaa xiriirkii kala go’ay, isaga oo dhanka kale walwal ka muujiyey duullaanka la qorsheynayo in lagu qaado Alshabaab, kaasi oo uu sheegey in iska warqab la’aan u dhaxaysa iyaga iyo dowladda Federaalka ay sababi karto in Shabaabka ay usoo baxsadaan dhanka Puntland, kadibna ammaanka qalqal galiyaan.

Waftiga safiirka iyo madaxweynaha Puntland ayaa soo kormeerey goobo dadweyne sida isbitaal iyo meelo kale, iyaga oo markii dambe kulan gaar ah yeeshey.

imo, puntland will secede because the only other option it faces (and will definitely reject) is to come under a centralized unitary govt of (ex italian colony) somalia based in mogadishu and most likely dominated by the hawiye

upset? no . its jjust annoying as you keep displaying your insecurity all the time in here.

i have international links that can show againist what you said but i dont want to make confrontaion about a region that doesnt concern me. here the govt part concerns me and that why i posted the thread. i dont mind any one to give his analysis but he shouldnt go off the topic or involve it with other stuff or telling us non existing things out of insecurity.

The very fact that Turkey has to "mediate", proves the country is heading in the wrong direction.

:pac: and you believed it

this is called having big/influenial allies/political diplomacy wich dam jadid are good at!

turkey have refused to help puntland under faroole according to his words "because of the somali president being againist them"

there was a group who said NO to the govt, the govt hasnt said anything, suddenly there is a meeting in a froegn capital without the govts being there and after hours a minister from the govt starts saying there can be NOs!

like i said turkey is designing rather than mediating, that is the policy for somalia wich helps the govt at the end.

With each and every post you reveal yourself to be a quisling minority clan Somali...with ideas far above his station.

back to the topic!

why my analysis are different?

because the most well-informed culturally and pultically somalis are the arabic speakers!

because of the lack of political challenges and problems in the west, the somalis in there are very ignorent about the third world political concepts. this guy talks about that there is no constitutional problems in somalia rather a struggle of power or conflict of power as he puts it between the stakeholders-on the authorities-thus, the only option is to use the foreing influential powers againist eachother!!.

the guy is abi mahdi sheekh, he is talking generally not particular subject and this is what he wrote on the somali political conflicts

this analysis didnt talk about mediation rather a group who uses an influential powers againist the other. this goes along with my analysis what im adding is-because of the subject on the hands- that the somali govt is using here its close ally-her cards- to reach the other in this way.

very simple but depends and who has big horizon or not denying the FACTS!!

@ OP, none of the Puntland news sources mention anything about mediation. I see you referenced Puntlandpost, so the link below tells what the Turkish visit was all about.

of course they will not mention it!

the politics are a world of its own, even the late pms funeral to be held in mogadishu was a political and was arrenged very welll and he met the turkish ambassador in there

what im saying is not about the visit itself but the turkish policy that is behind it! they would talk about this.

the somali govt and its ruling party are closely affliated with the ruling turkish party so that is one reason

the other reason is turkey being responsible of somalia and the UK and US know this

this is what i wrote as some project was announced a day after when gaas met with the turkish ambassador
"Turkey would help you according to your political attitude and reconciliatory policy in order to make somalia once again a great country before the year 2016 arrives

In other words it helps the somali govt in its national policies by bringing together all the stakeholders"
