Both saudi arabia and the UAE have recently become friends with the somali govt and this may effect her relationship with qatar
The somali govt seems now inclined to those countries for their financial and political roles in the arab world
But these countries(saudi arabia and UAE) are unlike of qatar anti-islamism, anti-ikhwan
This may even make hard reconciliating with the hardcore islamists like hassan dahir as these countries support only the elimination of all islamists
Qatar was calling to reconciliate with some of al shabaab and hispul islam elements
Saudia arabia has once sent back a newly appointed somali diplomates for being "islamists"
If somali govt enhances its relationship with these two countries it will get more funds directly because these countries(saudi arabia, UAE, and egypt) control the arab countries and as al siizi resigned from his military post so he can become a president, the egyptian role may back!
politically is helping too since these countries are more allied with the west
On the other hand, kuwait and somalia have started discussions to strength their bilateral relations
as the somali govts control over the country is extending with the on going operations againist the jihadists, its defence minister has received an invitation from the saudi crown prince, deputy prime minister and defence minister al amir salman bin abdulaziz
