With this simple kindly gesture, rear Cabudwaaq, have proven themselves to be head and shoulders above the rest of the country in basic ilbaxnimo . Kudos to them. I hope this cool trend catches fire soon and goes nation wide.

The Isaaq/Harti/Gadabuursi (British Somaliland) people that worked for the British as Askaris (Camel corps) came to Gedo when the British controlled Jubbaland (Ultra Jubba) back in 1920's. Most of them were stationed in Luuq and Baardheere. Some got married to the locals and remained whilst others have left back to their tribal land or some even relocated deep down NFD like Isiolo etc.

But again you can find all Somali clans through the country. There are Marehan community in Hargeisa, there are Marehan community in Baidoa and so on. Same goes for Hawiye, other Daaroods, Dirs etc.

when did the gadabursi work for the british as askaaris  proof or gtfo

What I find more pathetic is that people in Somaliland look up to 18 May more than 26th June. I mean seriously!!!
18 may is a memorial to your backstabbing and traitorous ways

Well...well..well what do we have here.

I see lots of comments of members waiting for my response on this small event in Caabudwaaq. Firstly let me tell you guys, I have nothing against any Somali clan and I'm only against Somaliland because of their secessionist ideology thats all. I see Somaliland (ISAAQLAND) as a tribal state (admin) and it is no different than Puntland, Galmudug, Ximan & Xeeb and Jubbaland. All these administration are tribal and stooges for foreign countries. But most importantly they are a threat to the well-being of the Somali nation and people.

Now regards this thread, I see this as no threat. The Somaliland (ISAAQLAND) community in Caabudwaaq are celebrating a tribal occasion that's all. Just like how the Somaliland community are celebrating in London or Sheffield it is no threat the government of the UK. People are free to celebrate what they want.

The

Somaliland precedes Somalia as a nation, so how can it be a tribal state within Somalia? It doesn't make sense. Even that blue rag of yours that you call flag disproves your nonsense. The white star represents the 5 Somali territories and Somaliland is part of the 5 Somali territories just like Somalia and Djibouti. On top of that Somaliland is the first Somali nation to ever exist.

 :sland:

I remember seeing a pic of sland flag on a building in cabudwaaq video, assumed reer sland lived there but didn't know how much. Bohol why do
you think they are reer gebiley?

Because they are the biggest Somaliland community in those areas, remember Rage Omar's father was also born in Gedo. They own HornCableTV
along with Jamaal Ali Hussein.
True, I have an uncle whose wife is Isaaq and she is reer Luuq.

I guess these people have been there for awhile, even their old ladies have our accents.

As they say naagi qabiil ma leh. Your uncles wife is not Isaaq but Darood specifically Marexaan.

It's a little suspicious that they go from fighting you one min to pledging their sincerest loyalty and letting you know if you remove all your troops and police we don't mind, the fight against the Germans is most important.

if you wave the somaliland flag and celebrate 18 may in kismaayo or caabudwaaq no one cares and no one will stop or harm you. but try and celebrate 1 july in hargeysa and wave the somali flag you will get beaten by the locals and put into prison by the police. that is the difference.

its not because we hate somalia more than other somalis but legally we do not exist, if july 1 is celebrated in hargeisa it shows we are stil part of somalia, ma tacab khasaar baanu isku ridnaa markaa kkkkkkk no 1 july in hargeisa until somalia recognize our independence.
