Alshabab has already attacked Somaliland.
That was back in 2008 when the leader of Al-Shabaab was Cayroow. However since Godane became the leader he refrained from attacking his tribal region.

There have been hundreds of attempts but the somaliland security prevented them. Sorry for your disappointment at the lack of isaaq deaths

Not a good news. If Al Shabab can attack next door Djibouti they can also attack Somaliland.
It was never a matter of "if they could", it's always been "if they should".
What do you mean? Are you suggesting that Alshabab hasn't attacked Somaliland not because they cant but because they don't want to? If so please explain why you think that Alshabab wouldn't want to attack Somailland?
Why should they attack Somaliland for? Somaliland is not a threat against Al shabaab. Djibouti, SFG,Uganda,Kenya are. common sense dude

My mistake.

Cayroow was leader of Al-Shabaab between 2006 and until his death on May 2008.

Abu Mansuur was the leader of Al-Shabaab between 2008-2009

Godane from 2009 until present time.

Lol so Godane, one man, has brainwashed all the southern hawiyes and daroods into attacking everyone except his tribe? What nonsense. If this is the way your brains work then no wonder the south is a mess.

No they were brainwashed by people from Afghanistan etc. Godane is a leader and he decides where bombing occurs.
