That's because the foreigners are in massive enclaves all over the city and buying up all the commercial land, when they're done prepping themselves they'll come outside and change the demographics of the city. The game is called Colonialism and it never stopped, the only thing that's changed are the tactics employed and the players.I was in xamar three months for six weeks and I didn't see a non-Somali speaking person on the ground except Turks building paving roads. Amisom are concentrated at the airport, government building, and occasional patrols in heavily armoured trucks. They are exist more in this forum than they do in Somalia.

There are a couple security enclaves. The Americans have one, the Danish have one. The Ugandans have one too, its heavily walled, there are famous hotels and restaurants built around it. People drive around it going about their every day lives. Once I got lost and parked right infront of the Ugandan one late at night. One of the soldiers shone a light on me, I reversed and went about, it's that simple. That's because the foreigners are in massive enclaves all over the city and buying up all the commercial land, when they're done prepping themselves they'll come outside and change the demographics of the city. Last time I checked, the "benevolent" turks were exporting all the fruit to Turkey and the average person could barely find any at the market, let alone afford it. Soon the Somali will count themselves lucky if they can lick a moldy banana peel stuck on an AMISOM bootstrap.

The Turks are in Somalia for their own self-interest, they don't give a single shit about the welfare of some dumb Africans. Why wouldn't they pave the roads? How else are they going to drive their armored vehicles and fancy cars when they decide to move in en-masse?
As for the Turks, i saw nothing but praise for them. There was this huge celebration in a park where hundreds of people came dressed in their districts colours, many flying the Turkish flag. I have a video and some pictures I can post but I'm using an ipad right now. The Turkish PM face can be seen on many billboards. There always those fadhi ku dirir sitting in cafés saying stuff like "these stupid Turks! they are paving the roads that were already paved", but overall locals are grateful.

Nobody definitely knows what their motives are, but the fact remains that Mogadishushians are happy with he Turkish presence. You can often see them paving roads, they aren't even heavily guarded. Sometimes they divert traffic and the car drivers salute them. The Turks are in Somalia for their own self-interest, they don't give a single shit about the welfare of some dumb Africans. It's good to see a fellow Somali who is awake.Righteous very interesting views. Thats what i believe.

It's called surgical colonialism, on the surface it's friendly and seems beneficial for all parties but when you look closer you'll see that it's rotten to the core.Nobody definitely knows what their motives are, but the fact remains that Mogadishushians are happy with he Turkish presence. Kurds live in the UK, if you want to know about real Turkish u have to ask somalis that have lived in Germany and Holland, and they will tell you they are the most honest, helpful, generous, brotherly Muslims they have ever come across. Only line you can't cross with them is marrying their daughter.
