Anyone who has even a basic awareness of how international relations works understands what's going on here. The Turks are trying to win the hearts and minds of gullible Somalis in a cynical move to join in on the second scramble for Africa.Bruv, I don't follow the Turkish presenc in Somalia that closely to come to an conclusion and neither do you. You need to know who teaches in the Turkish schools, what exactly they teach, who runs the hospitals, what the scholarships are about, who paid for the roads, is it a direct payment or loan, are the trucks doing oil exploration, have they signed any contracts etc etc.
You can sit here and have wild guesses, but I know for a fact, any brainwashing the Turks will do in Somalia will be far better than the brainwashing we get here in the west. You won't see any abdijohnsons coming out of Turkish Somalia any time soon.
