some people in here are actually trying to compete. somalia at the moment has zero urban planning.
not a single shantytown qualifies to be a town, let alone a city.
mogadishu was the only city somalia had because it had modern urban planning before the civil war.
like i said before, any coastal settlement in somalia has the potential to boom and surpass any coastal settlements/towns/cities in africa
primarily due to somalia's strategic location.
raaskamboni, kismaayo, marka, mogadishu, baraawe, hobyo, garacad, eyl, bender beyla, raas hafun, raas caseyr, boosaaso, laasqoray, xiis, berbera,
and seylac all have the potential to become vibrant cosmopolitan cities in somalia.
