^^
How on earth would he pull the numbers to win second term? D&M are split with say half welcoming the deal and half rejecting it, let's assume he can secure half the votes of D&M mps, don't count on H-block votes, count DIR out as well, and what's left of the votes isn't gonna be no way closer to even securing a third place in the presidential nomination.

He might win like he won in the first place. By buying votes.

I think shiekh shariif was the one who was bribing mps. This dude was quite popular at the time and won without having to resort to bribing. But, obviously bribing and much more bribing is what he will have to do and i think given that EU, UN, USA supporting this latest botched agreement cash flow might not stop. Therefore, enabling him to use it come Doorosho day. Even then there is no guarantee that bribed mps will stick to their words.

There is no guarantee but money and promise of sitting in next gov is enough for some to put their own views aside and vote for the prez. Hassan became popular because of many wanted sh shariif out but there is no doubt that he was bribing the mp aswell. Just like Sh.Shariif was doing. This is how things work, sadly in Somalia.
