In light of the second infiltration of Villa Somalia, the Chief of Police Saaid and CID Goobe have been fired.

The new Chief of Police is Gen Mohamed Sh. Hassan: Marehan/rer Garaad

The new CID head is Sanbaloolshe: Hawaadle

It seems Marehan have had a lock on Chief of Police and Commander of the Army/Army Chief of Staff about 90% of the time from Cabdiqaasim through transition to now.

I'm just bringing news sxb, chill. I was just scanning the news and found it odd. Even Abdullahi Yusuf hada Marehan Chief of Police (Gen Ali Madoobe) and a Marehan CCommander of the Army (Gen Dhuumaal).

It's an interesting pattern

Marehans are corrupt 1969 they had 2 officers xashi and sayid barre by 1991 they had 300 military officers

Caydiid in his book detailing the 1969 coup Siyaad had 4 army officers from Marehan secretly working for him in drafting policy including Commander of Air force Cali Mataan with Siyaad himself being Commander of the Army

The new police chief will not be needing to shaxaad gov officials anymore. Asagaa la shaxadaa hadda. Poor chap got a lucky break. I remember when Saacid, the former chief of police locked him up in jail and humiliated him.
