Oil giant British Petroleum has signed concessions with the Mogadishu authorities to explore oil and gas in Somalia.

An intelligence brief released on Monday indicated that Somalia's coastal waters in the Indian Ocean could be having some of the world’s largest oil deposits.

On Saturday, Dr Hussein Ali Ahmed, the Managing Director of the Somali Petroleum Corporation, told the media that Britain would send ships to explore oil in the Somali waters in the Indian Ocean.

“Somalia is one of the countries in Africa’s eastern region with large, untapped oil deposits,” said the oil agency director.

If drilled, it added, Somali oil would beat countries like Nigeria and Kuwait, to make the Horn of Africa state the 7th largest producer in the world.

The Federal Govt. shouldn't get a cent until the criminal Hassan Tuug Mohamud has been impeached, and sentenced for crimes against humanity. In his blood-stained hands, most of that money would be diverted into private yahuud banks. Galmudug needs to elect an intellectual who can bring together Central Somalis and lead them to prosperity and peace. The era of the warlord is over.

My brother, in order to save our country we need to get rid of zionist puppets like Damul Jadiid. I don't mean violent removal from office as it's forbidden in our religion to depose a man (who claims) to be muslim. It's only a matter of time before he's impeached.

Kismaayo belongs shiiqaal. galjecel. biimaal and mushungilis and Not Ogadens . there are some ogadens living in kenyan somali border and even those are not native in jubba. . and this warlord AXMED MADOOBE hes from Kilil 5 ethiopia therefore he can not be leader of any region in Somalia..
Kenyans will leave Kismaayo very soon because civil war is about to start coastal region inside Kenya.. and kenyan forces will be changed ciidamada jabuuti who will take direct order from central goverment. and ciidanka xooga dalka somaliyeed are their way on baraawe and after that Kismaayo. when that happens warlord axmed madoobe will be deported hes Native country Ethiopia..

Are you saying there are no Ogadens in kismayo if these clans u claim had any power how come they never fought for it
if Ahmed madoobe is from kilinka shanaad , than how was it possible for tarzan to become mayor of xamar , when he to was born in Ethiopia

Trust be there will no jabuuti troops in Kismayo Ethiopia Kenya will never allow it and there is no Somali central army to enforce their will on Kismayo as long as the strong IGAD states remain and support autonomous states especially IGAD officials who hail from the Ogaden clan have played it so smooth.

You should be worried about your president's safety as the Ugandans leave. Surely that would be more pressing and of concern to smart people instead of worrying how other people are ruling their lands.

They don't see the irony. They say ogaden you will leave with kenya, forgetting that it is like saying hawiye you will leave mogadishu when uganda leaves.
