if Somalia (who claims to represents the non existent Somali republic ) can't claim Djibouti, NFD or K5 on irredentist basis how can it claim SL? If we apply the same standard of logic then Somalia can't and should not claim SL.

Because british somaliland and italian somaliland actually had say, my brothers in djibouti were still under french occupation, my brothers in western somalia were under habash occupation, and my brothers in NFD were still under the british they still were under control. Explain to me what happened in 1961, how was the process illegal?

The process was illegal because the binding document (the act of union) was only signed by Somaliland and not by Somalia. Since the binding document wasn't signed bilaterally the union became null and void.

The people of Somaliland opposed the betrayal and in 1961 military officers from Somaliland staged a coup in which they tried reclaim the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country but unfortunately the coup failed for different reasons.
