The Somali government has no choice but to follow the consitution and merge Mudug with Galgaduud otherwise Federalism is a faliure.

Already the UN has approved this deal. And it has become law.

So now you say the constitution must be amended, well it will be amended for Hiiraan, Khatumo, Awdal, etc etc and for every other creation than. The three Southwest state is just like this new scam, a creation with no power to enforce. Ximan and Xeeb might be a town to you but they control quite substantial land in both regions so don't take them very lightly. As for HG Abdiqeybdid does notrepresent them.

How the Federalism will be adpoted, I think should be debated that is perfectly fine. Personally if You ask me Murax, HG are more useful in fighting AS in L Shabelle than a D&M in L Shabelle, but thats just Me. All I'm saying is Federalism isn't and shouldn't be up for debate, but the implementation of it should be.




Personally in this particular case with the Central State, there is simply no other option than 1 and a half gobol. Hiiraan wants more part of it, Northern Mudug wants no part of it. I don't think Xawaadle should be forced into it, and I don't think Laylkasse, MJ should be forced into it. 1 and a half is the only option, otherwise just have that region come under the Gov straight. If anything this Federal State helps Hawiye get the same seats in the upper house as Daroods. I don't understand the uproar.
